Bunch of us old farts.  Lol.

You know you are when your brain says press fire button, but the finger isn’t doing anything.

You been watching me play there ez?  I love my new ipad, but, I swear I miss hit buttons and drive into things all the time now!

One thing with M3 is keep moving and avoid the heavy armored tanks as best you can. You have to play it like any other light tank. Hide, flank and shoot the rears. I managed to get a mastery and finished with a 57 percent win rate over 140 battles. That's really good for me.

In no way shape or form do I think it’s a bad tank!

But the 37mm is not a drive by / snap shot gun when it comes to those armored Tier IVs or even the French Tier III Mediums.  You have to aim carefully and/or use APCR to have any chance at penetration.  And I’ve been seeing at least a pair anytime I’ve been uptiered. They’re bloody popular at the moment.  Plus even when you do punch through we’re not talking heavy amounts of damage.

Its a good little tank with a weak gun.

The autoloader can do a decent bit if you hit all three. the lend lease m3 is another story though.

Hans, get the Luger.

You know it.  Don’t seem to have kept any of them though.

I just passed a long box of 30+ years old comics to my 12 year old daughter.  I even had the Haunted Tank - The Demon crossover issues.  Plus a metric butt ton of titles I don’t even remember ever hearing of, let alone reading. :hiding:

The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

I never picked the Soviet M3 up.  I’ve never even looked at the stats to be honest.  I just assumed it was effectively identical to the stock American version.

There was a book called Brazen Chariots by Robert Crisp, he was a WW2 South African tank commander, the book is about his experiences in Operation Crusade..in a M3 Suart or in British parlayance..the Honey......this book made me want to be a real life tanker at the age of 12..fast forward 6 years later, in 1989  I got my wish...less than 2 years later I eas in Desert Storm as an M1A1 Abrams gunner..still love tanks.

I do not play the m3 that much (just if I platoon with someone and they want to play tier 3) but I do play the m4 and it is almost the same tank with a bigger gun. And the m3/m4 you HAVE to keep moving
The only way to truly win a battle is with American muscle

Awesome find on the Ghost Tank Dan, I read boatloads of those and Sgt_Rock. Good to know there are other old farts in this game! (My favorite tank build was the M4A1 Sherman Calliope)
