How To Calculate Effactive Armour

     Okay, so, I want to know if there’s an equation or something I can use to calculate the effective armour, for example, let’s say I have the armour plate of a tank, and it’s angled at 58° + 50° (° is degree(s)), and I want to know the effective armour, so I know if I need APCR or HEAT or something, how do I find the effective armour?

That, or use blitzhangar's 3d armor profile inspector. It works great.

Please further explain this, is it amour thickness divided by angle(s)? And if multiple angles, do I add them to eachother?

It is the thickness of the armor impacted divided by the cosine of the angle that the shell impacts the armor.

Thank you! But please give me an example and answer so I can see if I have figured it out.

And when there’s 2 angles, do I add the number (like 75° + 63° = 138°;), or do I divide by an angle then the sum by the other angle?
