Is it just me or is the 54 mod 1 the only tank on that list that I might pursue?  The rest are meh tanks.  Collectors... maybe but people who want a good tank... I’ll take the tech tree tanks over them.  Or just play The IS-3D from last year’s fair.

Just say 'NO' to Vanity

Million dollar question: Will this year's Fair allow the use of free experience similar to last year?  I remember last year WOT offered the discount on free exp conversion right around mid Dec and I did not take advantage.  Then came Blitz fair and I wished I had.  I wonder if they are messing with us speculating fools.  Many of us will convert to free experience this weekend only to find it's not a commodity for the Fair this year.  Oh well, free exp very valuable either way.  But if anyone here's about it's use in the Fair this year, plz do post.

mod 1 is good but I’m not excited. Too bad, but I’m still hoping for discounts on the normal shop tanks.

From Facebook today:

"World of Tanks Blitz Zoe Wilkinson the upcoming winter event is related to Christmas and New Year - and that is because it covers dates of both these holidays. It was my bad not to mention Christmas individually.
The event itself will be announced today and is going to start this week. Moreover, together with its start, the winter garage will appear."

I kinda want a KV5.  For some reason giant heavies appeal to me.

Tier Xs: M48 Patton, E100, T110E4, T110E5

the kv5 is stupid (ramming) fun... it takes a lot of beating, but is sort of nimble and if you wiggle it to protect the r2d2 it is a tough nut to crack

In stock at this post

VIII IS-3 DEFENDER 2299 IN STOCK

VIII M6A2E1 EXP 1399 IN STOCK

VII TYPE 62 960 IN STOCK

VIII TYPE 59 271 IN STOCK

VII T6 DRACULA 1480 IN STOCK

To buy these for ~1000 tickets, or ~50,000 gold, would cost around $150.  That's crazy.  These numbers seem to have been going down consistently for a week.  1200 people bought the Type 59 for $200+.  Hard to believe.

I finally made it to the "Supergame", collecting yellow tickets from crates for days got me most of the way there.  In the end, I traded to get a bunch of purple tickets for 50 yellow tickets which put me over the 153 required points.  Overall, I had about 40 chances to open a standard chest - I won a bunch of things I didn't really remember: boosters, tokens, other items and finally two tanks - an M3 light (tier 3) and an AC (tier 4).  I think I sold these before.

But I made it to the supergame, my chance for something awesome, "one of the major prizes", maybe a 59.  In the Supergame, you get a single 'spin' with many potential prizes on it (50 or so) like wheel of fortune.  Lots of tanks and great things, many lame things, like 30 more tickets.  I won maybe the worst one: 20,000 spare parts. It's not even listed on the gift list   A single equipment upgrade.  Crickets.  Now I'm feeling especially lame.  I tried pretty hard for that.  lol

There were a couple tanks I was really hoping for, but suspected odds were low to actually get them.  I didn't pay to buy any tickets, which would have made it really disappointing. I should never have tried in this thing. I would have been better off turning in my purple tickets for free experience and avoiding the Supergame altogether.

What a crappy fair.  Disappointing, you really need to not participate otherwise it makes you hate WG.

Come to our fair! Stay for a week, work hard, get your hopes up, leave with nothing.

Oh, and that auction?  It was fixed, literally.  There was a minimum on all prizes.  Bottom price is about $100 US per tank.

I can't believe fools spent 200-300 dollars for type 59s at "auction"...they were doing everything they could to give them away in the betting section, lol.  I got THREE of them just by cashing in my supergame tank progress points for tickets to keep betting. Also got the swede, an IS2, and a Glacial.  I wanted a Drac so bad, but they sold out going for about 95 bucks...that's crazy....and lets not talk about the people that bought out the M60s at 200 bucks apiece.  Oh, by the way, they blow up real good, lol...I always imagine them spraying change when they explode.

I agree, BF was a complete bust. I turned in my purple tickets for some spare parts and free XP, won a tier 2 Tetrarch and of course some super awesomeness boosters. I used my yellow tickets to open chests and won nothing  of any values.

Bring back Girls Und Panzers.
