I've played incessantly for two days and am 99% certain I have yet to fight on the Temple map.

Is this out of rotation? Tier restricted to low tiers? Abducted by aliens? Sacrificed by anime bros to placate their waifu?

Hmmm.

I checked my numbers. 190 games in a little under 4 days (like I said, hardcore mode after a long break), no Temple.

Oh well, more leftovers, more beer...

Did none of ya read the update news?? in 4.4 they made it unavailable for tiers 8-10
Some people say the Type 62 is overpowered. Having >500 battles and a 67% winrate, I may agree. However, none of y'all realize just how uncomfortable it is to sit down on these flimsy plastic seats with "Made in China" emblazoned on them. I mean, my cupholder just broke in half. How the f#%$ am I supposed to fire 250mm pen HEAT shells at the fronts of Tier 8 heavies if I have to be holding my Red Bull in one hand at the same time? It's ridiculous.

From the news:

Map availability for vehicles was changed:
  • The Naval Frontier map will be available for vehicles of Tier VI and higher.
  • The Copperfield map will be available for Tier I–VII vehicles.
  • The Mirage and Lost Temple maps will be available for Tier III–VII vehicles.

You're right. I did look at the update notes, but I guess I read Mirage and skipped over Lost Temple.

Or I'm dumb. Even odds, if I'm being honest.

I miss Mirage on higher tiers.  I still don't understand the logic of yanking that one.  It was fine ...

Yeah, like mentioned above, it was removed from tiers 8-10. Which I don't mind although I rather they remove Mines from tiers 8-10 as well...

That map was one of the more diverse ones. Either way is viable.

Some of Wargaming's decisions mystify me.

Temple has got cover for the larger tanks and varied terrain, so why take it out of rotation for for the Higher tiers?

Why not allow Navel Frontier to be used by tier V tanks?

Mirage was my favorite map.  Copperfield after being changed was good at any tier too.

I agree.  WG you are wrong to have done this and you should change it back

Because Lost Temple was pretty much only played in town. So everyone just huddles in town and its not dynamic enough. You could run some plays in the flank but its very rare and often doesn't work successfully in random battles.

Copperfield was way too small for tier 10. The moment meds flanked, whatever heavies go the usual route are completely exposed. It was like a nascar track since everybody goes in a circle and nobody goes in the middle

I agree that copperfield is too small for ten. View range is just too high.

regardless, it was fun, and often an easy carry on the monument steps. Further, with more lights in the game, teams often fight in the lowlands. I've also won plenty by telling my team to set up low and then I'd go spot/play rabbit on the ramp to cap. The map has more options than most people utilize.

What the devs did was wrong and they need to be brought to justice

My life has been very hard on my brain.  I thought they said the new map, Dynasty's Pearl, would only be available for tiers 9 and 10, but I've played it lots on tiers 7 and 8.  Is my mind playing tricks on me?
