  You have to play to get upvoted, sometimes you have to play with and against guys who know who you are. I’d have tossed one your way.

 

  I don’t have a down vote either. I’ve down voted players and had them not count as well. Down votes are all verified. I think it takes multiples in the same match for them to count but I’m not sure.

I have never received I downvote in 4.4 which is surprising considering my 5:1 upvote to downvote ratio before the update and I have 50 sum upvotes. I think they never, haven't seen a single one since the update. Don't remember the Kv-1 being so fast....

If I remember correctly, it was described very briefly in one of the patch notes that all downvotes go through some sort of verifying system.

MH is a feature that is broken

• WG has messed up the down/up vote ratios
• Terrible players have 5 star ratings
• MH system is just a way to allow global chat and have it be policed by players instead of WG (GG, WG - nicely played)

It’s a sop for people that can’t regulate themselves and/or think clearly.

The verification is simply that more than one downvote (possibly for the same reason, but I am not sure about that ) need to be given from different players in the same match. FWIW, I have never received a downvote either.

Okay, for starters, why were you downvoting the guy? He did almost as much damage as you did, and in fact, was the only other decent player on the team. 

 

To reemphasize what someone said above, nowadays it's only multiple downvotes in a battle that get recorded. That's their "verification system." So if you want to be a "major troller," toon with someone and downvote the same player.

 

But perhaps it's best to just ignore the whole system completely?

Everyone thinks Military honor matters. It really doesn’t. It’s a way to find which players in chat you can trust, not which ones to listen too. It’s not about battle smarts - it’s about finding trolls so you can avoid them and report them as a team.

The downvote was initiated because of the proactive communication in the first 30 seconds of the game.

Something that cannot be seen in you video and should it be a chat strike then.... or did you just do it for the sake of your video? 

 

It is obvious that multiple strikes of the same type show up as a warning.

I have about 200 up votes and a total of 20 down votes.  I think 18 of those downvotes are provocative coms.  Guess the word Moron gets under peoples skin? I got a 4 day chat ban after I got 2 down votes in one game for calling a nub platoon of 35%ers fuk sticks.  They basically lost the game on purpose.  I have also down voted other players for non activity and gotten a message they had received a warning so it does do something sometimes.

If your star isn’t purple, you are complete and utter trash.  Over time, simply breathing will earn you a purple star.

I’m pretty sure you have to get the same downvote from 2 or more players for it to stick.  Pretty sure...
