I am glad you are playing on our server.  You'll see how the majority of the games are badly lopsided blowouts, with player skill at an all-time low.  It's a waste of your programming skills, having all these fools play like morons on a game designed by such brilliant people.  It's a total shame.

If you watch the streams from the Russian server it’s all the same. Meta is a little different but the games are mostly lopsided. Don’t expect him to learn anything new here.

T110E5 - what happened to the cupola change??  Notes just say mantles armor was fixed....  I thought cupola was getting ‘patton like’. I was staring at my cupola in my garage... and it looked the same.  I had it on good authority it was going to change.... nope.  Why?

The gun mantlet previously just held a black hole with zero armor, now the tank has armor behind the mantlet. It was a bug fix, the rebalance will come later.

Lots of RU players say the same about their server. If you really believe there are significant difference between how the battles are going on NA and any other server, you are wrong.

This is excellent information. This means that the largest server population (RU) is experiencing the same blowout phenomenon as the the smallest (or one of the smallest (NA) which suggests that MM may need to be tweaked. I'll put my soapbox here (in addition to the MM thread) about the need to distribute new players across teams. It doesn't have to be equal but any move in that direction would help. I've run across a number of newer players that scream "rigged", "fixed" (it's not),  "unfair" and have quit because they're getting stomped playing on mostly new teams against mostly experienced teams. Unbalanced teams (and the feeling of unfairness) aren't good for growing the player base.

 

(and yes, I've heard the logically inconsistent argument that all players experience the same player mix yet distributing new players to make the teams more competitive/balanced would hurt unicum ratings. As I stated before, good players would still stand out but the spread of the distribution would just be smaller)

I am not surprised.  Surely there's a way to elevate the skill level of the player base... most of whom have no idea how to play or how the game works.  This game is WAY better than its players :confused:

Maybe it may seem a bit odd for me to throw this out here but have you all considered improving the tutorial? It doesn't exactly explain everything.

 

It doesn't explain why modules are important to repair, it doesn't explain individual functions of each module, it doesn't explain what happens when a module is damaged versus broken.

 

The tutorial also doesn't give much help to new players on how to drive, like console WoT actually does. The learning of how to better move the turret and drive isn't explained which results in players sitting still and traversing the turret. 

 

The tutorial doesn't explain shooting at armor well at all with angles and thickness. Believe I know this too, back in April or May I wrote a short analysis of the Tutorial we currently have by checking it out and it doesn't explain anything well...

 

I also know how the devs always stress: "Blitz is autonomous from the other World of Tanks Platforms!" But somethings such as the optional tutorials/videos that reward small amounts of Credits, free exp, consumables, and even gold not only offer players a choice of to better understand the game but at least putting in an incentive that will guranteed give them practice even if they only do it for the reward. The tutorial needs change and it needs to be accessible at any time to all players so they can better understand the game mechanics.

Mayo is right, your tutorial is laughable. I guess you're afraid to scare people away by making it to in depth, but c'mon what you have now isn't fit to get anyone ready for even tier 1.

I like this game is a good fun game but British heavy tanks after black prince need serious help 1 v 1 is3 or Is6 or any other heavy in that matter falls very flat especially the caernaven is awful along with an awful credit coefficienty!! Then there are some over powered tanks as well that make me want to quit playing.

While you’re at it, buff the frontal armor on the VK 30.02(M) to 85mm like on PC as well. It’s not even half that thick on this game.

Can I get the numbers for the British Meds that got WG to nerf the 7/1 and 4202?

I dont know anything about Russia's stats, but in NA the 4202 is easily the lowest regular tank via Win rate by over half a percent.
That seems to be with in an "acceptable" range but I would think that when it first got buffed with Heat and Hesh its numbers would have been pulled up to par at best. Still dont understand the motive for that Hesh and DPM nerf afterwards.

Am I right in assuming that the line graph represents average damage per battle and the bars are the winrates?

 

In regards to the alternate gun, that would be great news if HESH penetration numbers are restored to pre-nerf values. Could you confirm if HESH will be restored or not on this alternate gun? It would give me reason to pick up the grind again.

No concrete numbers so far. But our point is to give HEATs to one gun and HESHs to another.

It appears all the Tier 9-10 Meds are taking hits in both Dmg and WR since 3.6 (I am basing that on data I have prior and current as it compares to what you posted.

 

Any chance at relooking at some of the effects from the updates since 3.6?
