I do love the fact that the Tiger II is now a force to be reckoned with--I have to ask, though, is that lower plate a little too strong? Personally, I think it is. Can we potentially expect a slight adjustment to the Tiger II if it continues to out-perform everything else at tier 8?

 

I'm glad it's finally a nice tank now, but I do think that lower glacis plate is a little too nice.

Interesting. Mostly good. The Grille buff is nice. Now it will be able to be sneaky like a glass cannon needs to be, but I don’t think it will be enough. I still say you should buff the gun depression over the front of the tank. 4 degrees on a tall tank is just insanely bad. It’s the most useless brawling tank in the game and I just find it unjustified.

 

Everyone can agree the Progetto and Standard B needed a nerf. I’m just surprised you went for gun handling instead of dpm. I think the issue with them over performing is that the shell reload gets better the deeper into the magazine you go and the dpm is the highest on the last shell. The reload should get slightly worse the deeper into the magazine you go. That way, you still have the ultra flexibility of the autoreloader, but you have to play methodically to get the most out of it.

Tiger needs 15-20 mm off the lower plate but add more to the upper plate.

 

Anyway still no batchat buff? Its literally a tank based on high skill cap yet even with your so called good players outside the prem tanks it has the 3rd lowest winrate  of tier X meds/lights besides the t62 and leo which are getting decent buffs and the lowest avg dmg.

I took a look at the BT-SV, one of the few TIII tanks I kept.  We have a reload time of 5 seconds versus 2.3 seconds for regular WOT.  That would be a big change...

I'm getting real sick of driving the superpershing.

 

The armor does not work.  The mobility is poor. The gun is mediocre.  I am being penetrated by bot level players when I am hull down.  I paid for this.  Something needs to be improved massively and soon.

I'm just glad they haven't actually forgotten about the tanks that got so many of us into tanking at the start of the game--even if the pace they're buffing those tanks is kind of slow. Low tier collector vehicles are important to us, but I understand if they're not the developer team's first priority, as we as the player base do not play these tanks as often higher tier vehicles.

 

@RibbleStripe, I can't say enough, though, how happy it makes us to be able to play our old-friend collector tanks from our first days in Blitz every once in a while.  Thank you for continuing to keep an eye on the low tier collector tanks' situation.

Changes for near future:

121B - rate of fire buff;

Grille 15 - concealment after shot buff;

FV215B - HP storage nerf;

Foch 155 - damage per shot nerf and rate of fire buff;

Progetto 65 - dynamics, accuracy, aiming and stabilization nerf;

Standard B - accuracy and stabilization nerf.

I know the post is old and I'm also aware that I'll get told off, but is the Kpf.Pz. 70 /MBT-70 slated for a buff anytime soon?

It has the worst DPM of the Tier IX heavies (only the Mauschen is worse but that leads to my next point), it has the lowest penetration of the Tier IX heavies by a lot. This leads it to need to run Calibrated Shells to penetrate anything (also due to the fact it uses APCR/HEAT/HE, which means its HEAT cannot pen the turret cheeks of the E100 when stock due to a lack of normalization against the 4 or 5 degree sloping of the E100's turret face) whereas other Tier IX heavies can run Rammer, which makes the gap in DPM even worse. It has a miserable 6 degrees of gun depression even though it historically could achieve 12 degrees through the combined use of its suspension. On top of all this it has nerfed alpha damage for a 152mm gun (which makes no sense at all for a Tier IX heavy with one of the lowest ROFs in the game and the worst DPM at Tier IX).

 

Jumping to a historical standpoint, its shell velocity is completely incorrect, and with the recent announcement for the addition of ATGMs, it should have a gun that fires ATGMs as well (since the entire reason it uses the 152mm XM150 is so it can fire the MGM-51 Shillelagh ATGM). 

 

If you plan on doing ANYTHING with the Kpf.Pz. 70, at LEAST give it its historical ATGMs. 

 

Oh and fix the name of its shells, you have them mixed up. 

Specifically, the shells are these, and what they're put to is mentioned:
Cartridge, 152mm M409A1, HEAT-T-MP (this is its APCR round in game)
Cartridge, 152mm XM578, APFSDS (this is its HEAT round in game)
Cartridge, 152mm XM617 Beehive (this is its HE shell)

When they should actually be:
Cartridge, 152mm XM578 APFSDS (APCR)
Cartridge, 152mm M409A1 HEAT-T-MP (HEAT)
Cartridge, 152mm M657 HE-T (HE)

 

And if you add a second gun with ATGMs:
Cartridge, 152mm XM578 APFSDS
Cartridge, 152mm MGM-51 Shillelagh ATGM

 So, was it an intentional choice or an accident to give the tier IV M8A1 tank destroyer the same traverse speed as the tier III M5 Stuart in this last update? 75 degrees of rotation per second seems awfully high for any tier 4 nowadays (rest in peace dear Luchs, with your meager 30 degrees of traverse speed...). 75 degrees of traverse speed on the M8A1 is really quite high for a TD, especially a TD with a turret. I went and played the M8A1 after I saw it had received this very unusual buff and, honestly, it is now challenging to play. 95 degrees per second of rotation speed (turret traverse speed + hull traverse speed) makes it quite easy to turn too far too fast when trying to aim, especially in close quarters.

Question. Why on earth did you guys buff the side armor behind the tracks on the Jagdpanther to 165mm? Thicker than the Mauschen’s sides. That’s just crazy. So this a mistake I’m guessing? Right?

Since the Panther I just received an armor buff that is frontally thicker now than the Panther II, can we assume the Panther II will be getting an armor buff in the near future? It would only be logical. It’s on the bottom of the performance charts again anyway.

 

The Centurion I is also always on the bottom of the charts. Since it has the lowest in class alpha damage, I think it needs more dpm. That’s a tried and true formula.

Ribblestripe, the USA lights are breaking the game. Not because of the rockets, the rockets are fine. Because of the APCR round. Take away the APCR round for both, make people either use the rocket or splash with HE.
