What?

Thank you for the response. Thank you for the nerf I guess. However, the unintended lookout bar exploit is the main problem with the tank. Sure it was overpowered when released but we can all deal with that because generally over time nerfs and buffs balance somewhat with a few exceptions.
the number one issue with the tier 9 in particular is that it is overpowered and has the ability to have a super powered aim cheat. We were told by the testers that this was not how the aim was intended and that they failed to find this bug in testing.
is there a technical reason the cheat aim couldn’t be removed with this update?
The exploit you keep referred to isn’t nearly as easy or as reliably as you say.
They are aware - and I am sure will track Touch v KBM performance in the tank to see if this is as significant an issue as some make out.
While I’ve been out of game for the week - I will state that I’ve only ever seen missile mechanics be effective in clan scrimmages.
I suspect that after some tournaments come out - that if touch look lit launching is really an issue that it will get dealt with.
* I play on iPad - I don’t lookout launch - but I do think that it’s not a fair option.

I know and we’ve been over this ground before. I’m not a unicum. I can’t take too many cheat shots whether it’s lucky, occasional or spammed by the gifted. And there are a bunch of us out there. Get gud. Welp, I’m almost good and some cheat rig f’s up the game for me and my ilk.
I can learn and adjust to a changing meta and new op tanks with buffs and nerfs. Magic missiles I can’t abide if even only on occasion. Wallet shut and 3 more tiers meh along with the ruined bottom 5. I’ve got the fantasy tier and the low tier that faces fantasy tanks.
we shall see what this nerf brings but the cheat aim is [edited]. “Working as (NOT) intended.”

Ribble, Ribble, Ribble. Can you explain more about why wg is keeping the aim exploit in game?
was it wrong when we were told it was an unexpected way to work the aim?
has wg not seen the trick shots? 180 turns?

And this is where you'd be wrong.
WG knows that shots over cover are possible, they showcased it in their trailer for them. Not only do they know this, but they also actively seem to want it, since the missiles were buffed to be more reliable, more effective, and easier to use after the test version of the Sheridan, since the testers barely used any missiles at all

idk. C6 seem to suggest the use of the look out bar was not anticipated.
the missile mechanic implementation was loud stupid on these op tanks.
didn't I just see you on discord complaining about the missile tanks?
wg needs to get their heads out of their ***** and repair this.

With all due respect...
you cant call it balance if the feature that bothered 7 continents of players. I have earned my way to tier10's over all these years, and now those same tanks are rendered useless because the new thing doesnt care about cover or armor.. and has heat seeking missile.
no matter how missiles will be adjusted, as long as that feature still stays, you can not call it balanced sir.
I get it, change is hard, why not limit boundaries of your experiment to 1 tier, rather than infect 3 main tiers (where players worked for years to gather tier10's)
trust in balancing team is very low, as they trying to push an agenda of a "new meta" onto the players who barely understand side scraping.

pro tip: Take Deep Breaths Often.
1st
look out bar mobile (+ aimed tank with regular vision) works in a different way than "mouse right click" in Mac (I tried iPad-Mac I guess for the PC is the same). Plus Mac (PC) auto lock aim doesn't work. So if we are talking about giving advantage to a modality only mobile got that.
This doesn't bother me at all (I can play both modality). But still it is not fair for the game.
2nd
to be honest even look out bar use needs a training: it is not so easy. But still it is something wrong for obvious reasons. Fact: a light tank shouldn't be able to deal more DMG (or the same) of a TD. We are talking about 7-8k. It is out of this world.
In addition to that there are a couple of Mod (WOTB can you hear me ? Are you aware about those ? or are still undetected ?
I would be not surprised if those were not yet discovered because they are very difficult to detect by wotb.
I may have noticed it in one battle in NA server.
take a look at the attached video (EU server)

You should check out some of the Sheridan replays featuring HisRoyalFatness, and he doesn't even use the lookaround bar that I can tell. For example check out these two crazy shots!
That doesn't disprove your main point though, most people can't do this.

well he is one of the best player of the server and besides the E100 was in a position relatively "easy" to be aimed after the shot.
still impressive
Again keeping this player as example he got best all of fame DMG tier 10 with almost 9k. More than the TD s did (more than Foch, 268, E3.....all the best td of the game !)....this is not correct for the game.
Look also the t92: the abuse of the missile made possible the 10 best DMG are highest than most of the Td at that tier.
If you wanna give that gun to a light fine, then make their armor weak but really weak. These are stronger than Grille or WT.
Very very wrong

Maybe because we don't consider it as exploit. According to our stats ATGM tanks dominate not because of ATGMs. Normal shells make those tanks such effective. This is why it's not about the bar.
However we realize that being hit by a missile can upset some players in certain cases. This is why we make missiles more situational reducing their damage and penetration.
