Keep the lack of armor, huge size, camo and all soft stats the same. All are workable. Where this tank falls down, primarily, is due to:

  • poor gun depression & elevation (many of the rather ‘normal’ spots are unworkable; doubly so if the enemy rushes in below your lousy max gun depression.)
  • loooong reload, as measured in glacial cycles
  • reticle bloom after firing or movement. This should be quicker as one is reloaded before the reticle settles, thereby lowering actual DPM. 
  • there’s also something goofy about its AP penetration. Too many well-aimed shots, shots which display as clear penetrations on the hit skins, bounce. This is game-breaking for a tank of this nature. I’ve had entire clips bounce for no damage, as recently as yesterday, which were perfectly aimed at clean targets. So there goes 30 seconds or more, 1/6th of a match and now having to hide from an alerted enemy. 

Although burst output delivers a theoretical 900 Alpha, this is seldom realized. Too many shots bounce. Too many potential shots go unfulfilled due to poor gun depression/elevation issues. 


 

Proposals. There is no need to implement all of them. In order of positive impact:

  • make it an auto-reloader 
  • shorten the reload time if left as an auto-loader. Perhaps 13-15 seconds. 
  • ​increase the allowable angles for gun elevation & depression
  • decrease the aiming time 
  • decrease bloom when moving the turret
     

My next video is on the Lorraine and it has been a real chore to produce. It is very rare to carry in this tank as the useable/actual DPM is very low. It is even more dependent upon your team staying alive than the e25 is. That’s saying a LOT.

Droodles recently declared it to be the most difficult tank to play in this game. I have to agree. I call it “The Struggle Wagon”.  A player simply feels exhausted after playing 2-3 rounds of this worrisome beast. It really should be a battlefield terror. It is currently a battlefield rarity. 
Does anyone actually want a 30 minute Lorraine video? Well, yer gonna get one. Putain de merde, ce char est fatigant.

 

I've always said that the Lorraine is one of the most stressful tanks to play well. I'm not saying it's a bad tank or that it needs a buff, I actually think it's pretty good where it is. Maybe not ideal, but definitely acceptable. But to get back to it being stressful, it really is. Having to balance the largest clip on a medium at Tier 8 in addition with the massive reload and being a paper tank is just hard and it's why I don't play the tank often, despite producing decent numbers in it.

Ribble stripe, I have a suggestion that you can buff E100 face armour of the turret and Amx 30 b Alpha damage should buff little bit . T22 medium also should have little buff and put it in the shop this weak  without crates, because many people wants that tank . Also fv215b needs little Alpha damage buff, because it is the lowest Dpm in Wot tier 10 heavies . I just realized that the amx30b doesn't even show up on the charts. That might be due to it having a super low playerbase, but it might just be that mediocre.

While we are buffing light tanks...

 

What do you think of a buff for the Type 64 and T21? Both of those tanks took 110% of our skill to play well before the heavy buffs, and now with tier 5, 6, and 7 heavies getting more HP, in addition to the extra armor multiple of them got several updates ago, it has gotten very challenging to play the Type 64 and T21 with good results. I really love my T21 and regularly play it, but it is very challenging to keep up with the meta with 128 mm of AP penetration (and only 125 mm of pen on the Type 64). These are the lowest penetration numbers at tier 6 (for non-auto-loaders). Now that heavies have more armor, Type 64 and T21 drivers have to spend more time aiming at weak spots (exposed to enemies while we're doing so), and now that heavies have more HP, we have to spend more time overall with our guns on target (again, we're exposed to enemies for longer). Overall, the Type 64 and T21 are fun to drive, but they have become very challenging to use. I think a penetration buff for these two tanks would be awesome. Is this a possibility?

Hey Ribble, can you guys please throw some love in the direction of the T28.  Either armor(buff or remove the chin so it matches the T95), speed, traverse, gun depression, dispersion . Something!

 

Tank is so slow, you end up taking lots of long distance shots, but the accuracy is so poor so many end up missing.  Then gun depression and traverse is so bad that when you do get into combat you've got to work overtime to try and get the gun on target.

Tortoise and T28 need buffs badly

Tortoise could use more frontal armor; many guns can pen it frontally with AP without an issue.

T28 either needs the lower plate removed, or it needs the lower plate buffed considerably.

Agreed, I still see the tort every once and a while, but its been a hot moment since I've seen a t28. It's like observing a mythical creature roaming around in the wild when seeing one of those in a match.

While players may have moved on to freshly cooked tanks, is dev team considering to balance missile feature after minimal changes of last patch?

and any changes being discussed to increase gun depression (gun turn down limit) for high tier meds? 
Why not give round it off to 10* on leo and Patton and/ or increase fv4202 to 12* for uniqueness.

 

just curious if changes to 62a are meant to be medium balancing phase.

 Let me rephrase assis question,

Why don't you make A 10X10 Mode.

 

 And I hope you give the British lights some time before you hit them with the nerf sledgehammer, Because most likely unicoms are the ones that made it to tier 10 already and made the stats look that good.

Hello everyone: I've been doing some research by the Brazilian and American communities of Facebook groups about a possible Buff in the is5 gun, and I decided to bring this discussion here, because even though i like this vehicle i feel that it is still behind compared to heavy competitors of the same level, as obj.252 u, is3, tiger 2 in question and armament and armor. So I would like to know your opinion about what you think of a possible buff in the aiming time, dispersion and speed of the is5 APCR projectile.

It took me SUCH a long time to get the hang of it. I think I spammed so many battles that I'm at around 300 now without bothering to learn the damn thing and I'm only just starting to bring my stats around. While it's a fun tank, it's definitely very difficult to play and I think the name "Struggle Wagon" fits. The tank is badly hampered by its long reload and because the drum is so big, you seldom get opportunities to utilize it fully and put your DPM to use. 8 degrees of gun depression is nice, but I think it needs more to make up for the god awful armor and size. I think 9 or 10 degrees of gun turn down + a gun handling buff would make this thing much more bearable to play. Maybe WG can consider increasing the alpha to 240 as well, seeing as the Progetto gets that much.
