Watched this documentary on Netflix; I think it originally aired on PBS...Nazi Mega Weapons: Tanks Episode

Went thru the development of German WWII tanks and what led to the development of the Maus and other models. I never knew that the only two prototypes of the Maus were captured by the Russians and discarded as unusable designs...

For the non-Nexflixers, that series regularly airs on AHC (American Heroes Channel). I enjoy watching the episodes.

American John Walter Christie designed the Christie suspension for tanks. The design was discarded by the US military, only to be celebrated for its revolutionary design and performance by Russia during WW2.

A good heavy driver knows how to make shots bounce off their armor, how to use cover while fighting at the front, when to get out there and just take the shot to protect his team, to keep the reds attention focused so his team can flank, and to consistently do damage while all of that happens.

Considering the user name and staying in character, hard not to recognize the comedy gold here.
