These events are seriously impossible to win unless you play 24/7 we all need to boycott these events until WG makes these events to where everyone can complete (WITHOUT PAYING) it's getting rediculous, I play almost every day and had no chance on the last event and I'll have no chance on this one either, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE to BOYCOTT events until they can be completed in a day or two of  moderate play

This is a completely knee-jerk and misguided post. WG is offering us the chance to purchase premium vehicles. Are they obligated to make them free? No. If you don't want a premium vehicle, don't buy it. If you want one, you must pay money.

I'm not saying that they need to give them away, they just need to make them obtainable in a reasonable amount of time for these events

I would suggest that you take this issue up with WG on 12/23 during your Airing of Grievances.

I disagree. I have no issue with grind events as long as they do not include a gambling element. The events I agree are a little ridiculous for a mobile game because people have lives to attend to.

WG imo can and should have events but....

1. Make the grind tough but not impossible

2. Allow players a reasonably priced buy out at the end for the grind not completed to that point. This way the players get the tank, but can also defray the costs a bit if they put in the time. This makes some money for WG from peeps who would otherwise not spend any.

3. Allow players a buy out with a bundle for the tank along with a bunch of other things, make it expensive and make it so that the bundle has at least one exclusive element to it, something like a never to be offered again legenday camo. Players willing to spend money on gambling events and collectors would gravitate towards this option making WG money off the same people who would have spent it in the first place, difference is players get their tank and are happy.

They make a ton of money between all of their games and their regular sale of all the other regular premiums, why can't they offer event tanks cheap or make them obtainable for people who don't play 24/7? They get the revenue why can't they give back to the player with events that can actually be completed? Last few events I couldn't even complete maybe 30 percent of the way. So what am I supposed to open my wallet to pay WG whatever they want for a tank that should be obtainable to most? I think not

This is not a grind event. This is an event to gamble for tanks. I do understand what you’re saying, the last event was impossible to complete and I play at ton. But this is not a grind event for free tanks. I much more enjoyed the blitz fair last year. I don’t know why they had to go and mess it up. I was looking forward to this for a very long time and saved up a decent amount of money to spend on it but it looks like I won’t be spending.

This is a complete gambling event. They give you a few free tickets to wet your appetite, like hey what's these two gold tickets, mmmmm I need more tickets, I can use my gold or freexp, mmmm I need more tickets to complete this that or another ...

Cashgaming wins.

My issue is just how complicated and opaque this event is.  What fidelity do I have for this?  I can't trust I'll come away with anything I want.  If there is a way, Wargaming did a bad job of communicating it to the players.

To be clear, this is a GAMBLING event. WG Made that clear from the get go when they explicitly said "BET" tickets on their news post. The grind? That nets maybe 60k flags, 65k at best, from missions and crates. The total prize pool consists of 360k flags in cost. Can you complete that? Hell to the no. That is not a grind. That is a scam meant to look like a grind.

Personally, WG is making themselves out to be one big bad joke. It is exactly this sort of behavior from other companies that has made me a purely F2P player on most my games years ago.

Sometimes, you just gotta sit back and watch them all burn. Don't forget to bring popcorn. You're going to need a snack.

1.) many people have dropped thousands of bucks on the blitz fair already.

2.) its a lottery, WG doesn't need to hand you free premium tanks.

3.) its a lottery, what makes you think that you can win stuff?

5.) we tried boycotting so many events before. Result? More events that are harder to achieve and more fueled by real money input.

6.) playing the game every day doesn't increase your chances at a lottery....

7.) While we (like 1% of the whole NA player base) are complaining on the forums, WG is earning huge money from regular wallet warriors.

Yep...hit them in the ratings. Just left a 1 Star because of this event. Not spending a dime. Sad state of affairs wargaming. You are better than this....or maybe you are not. Russian gambling at its finest. Best chance of winning is not to play. Watch Sk8t’s video. Poor guy was so depressed by the end it was sad.

For example there's only a possibility of earning 62 thousand flags when you need over 300k to complete the event, hence it's a pay to win only, WG is screwing the people who don't dish out cash for everything

I play WoT Blitz because I enjoy to play a few battles every week.  We don't all have a ton of time to boycott events because WarGaming isn't just forking out premiums left and right.  I'd be happy to get the crappiest tank on the block.  Boycott it if you want, but quit spamming my inbox with these garbage posts.

Actually, besides the money, they can successfully run social experiments. Notice that the price of a tank at auction is about 200 USD, that is about 10x the price of a normal IS-6. Or, 2 tanks - one iPad.  Is fairly interesting to run such a thing and obviously, out of thousands of players, for some money are not important.

My issue is that they run it on Christmas, what an insult !
