I did search and found a few older posts.

Has anyone had luck playing WOTB on a Chromebook?  Our laptop is dying fast and I'd like to play this game on a larger screen than my phone.  Keyboard would be nice, which would require Windows 10, correct?

Just wondering anyone's experience with this game and a Chromebook or something similar.  My heart's not set on running on max graphics, either.

Thank you!

Just fork over like an extra $50 and get the $350 apple ipad, it will run it on max settings with no issue. https://www.apple.com/ipad-9.7/

Well I don't run on a chrome book but I play on a ho pavilion laptop not an expensive one. I have wotb on my iPod but on a laptop is mush better but get a witless or wired mouse it works so good. Hope that answered your question.

My experience on my laptop is way better than on anything else.

Chromebooks are horrid. Disgusting pieces of garbage. Do what YourTypicalNoob says and buy an iPad. If you want a KBM device, there are plenty of cheap laptops and PCs on sale throughout Christmas.

Google "succulent chins" and click on the first result. It will be very much worth your time! Some satisfied customers:

"T'was worth the read, but I shall never read it again. You have amazing writing skills, though. Teach me how to writeeeeee!" -you happy now?!?! HUH!?!?

"lol, googled succulent chins. It was worth it"

"10/10 wouldn't read again"

In the time since I posted this I also have discovered other reasons for us to go away from a Chromebook.  It just seems those are the "hot"-ish item right now and I wanted to check here and see if they were worth pursuing, which is a definite no.

But as for the I-Pad, that could certainly be in the stars but farther down the line.  Currently, we have begun looking for a suitable replacement laptop but I have a short list of must-haves for it, one of which is a solid state hard drive.  I have played the PC version of WOT and like it, though I only tried it after being fairly well invested into Blitz so I'd like to continue on Blitz too.   Using a keyboard and mouse would be a great thing for my 'ol thumbs, which can cramp up when using my phone for this game, ha!

We are going to wait and see if any deals pop up over the next week or two that we could jump on.

Until then, I thoroughly appreciate you guys replying so quick.  Thank you!!

Can't run Wargaming stuff on Chromebooks.

The Chromebook uses a Linux OS version. They're great for sending emails, surfing the web, streaming and browsing online, but not for gamers.

Ended up we got a nice Acer laptop.  Having a harder time coordinating my crampy thumbs on a small screen phone.  This new rig runs Blitz very well.  Now, to continue with my skills/stats... :teethhappy: :P
