Hey guys, so this encyclopedia thing was my project for winter break (to keep me busy), and it compiles some models I've worked on over about a half year or so. I made these models with the development of German armor before and during WW2 in mind, and they loosely represent the path of German tank development.

Since these models aren't copies of German tanks, I made them tanks of a fictional country called New Prussia, which basically represents the scenario of Germany not being screwed over by Versailles and being able to develop tanks on par with other contemporary nations.

I really hope you guys enjoy this, and I hope the tank history guys out there recognize the many little details I've worked into my models which correspond with actual German tank development.

For those of you who want to play with the models I've created, there's a page for each class where I've embedded a 3D model of every tank using an online host site. The actual modeling was done using SketchUp, and I've put a link to the model files for those of you interested in downloading them.

Here's a link to one of the models I made in case you don't want to comb through the entire site first:

HERE'S THE LINK TO THE SITE I'VE CREATED:

ENJOY!

Excellent work! The amount of time dedicated to this definitely deserves praise!

BTW L-30 ausf A is my personal favorite:)

Yes, I also like that Jagdtiger-like profile. I actually modeled a TD version of that chassis into something like the jagdtiger, but I got rid of it. I actually forget why now...

How would I use the models in the game?

In WoTB? I have no clue. I mean, I'm sure someone could convert files and swap vehicle skins in the game files, but I have nowhere near the knowledge needed for that...

In the site I mention allowing WG to use the models if they feel like it, but the odds of that happening are pretty slim...

Ahem, Ribbble... :teethhappy:

This is very impressive. I am not nearly techy enough to make even a 3D models of a rock.

SketchUp is pretty intuitive. All you need to do is make a 2D shape and push/pull (extrude) the shape to add a third dimension. The software is very easy to learn, but there is so much you can do with it once you get advanced.

My art teacher had us do something similar to this and I, as a crude joke, decided to design a man getting shot with a bullet half through his head, it didn’t end up looking any where near that and no where near as high quality as your nice work!

keep it up!

p.s. my art teacher sent me to the principal as she thought my art looked like the mean was sucking on a _ _ _ _

I’m sampling the retiree life, of Blitz, not sure if I’ll be returning, but thanks for all of your advice and fun.

I blamed It on the crappy coding for the website, it didn’t align my objects properly, and the color wheel thing wasn’t a lil fcked up
