This is completely untrue.  There is a very simple way to get around this:  you split the teams based on winrate and battles AFTER the initial matchmaking which is in place now.  Because the tanks are already balanced, you simply switch one player for the other to get as close to a 'numerical' balance as possible.  That way you avoid seeing 4 >%55 players on one team with the other having negatives.  I don't think the people over at Wargaming thought this through very well.

Nice Necro post.

You are assuming that all the players are playing the same tier?  How does your proposed system deal with the two top win rate players being in two different tiers.  For example.  The 60%er is in a tier VIII and the 58%er is in a tier VII.  Or if you have two 60%ers in a platoon?  How do you match them.

Your idea won't work.

  Also, what about the 60%er with half his games played with in a low tier OP tank. He is not the equal of a 60%er who plays tier X.

  There are too many things involved to match teams fairly by any stat other than ace damage and even at that you can have a pretty high avg damage and with few skills if you just play derp tanks a lot.

  Number of battles is also a waste of time because there are scads of guys with 20k games worth of experience who have 40% WRs.

  Nothing can be done to make it anywhere near what everyone complaining about it thinks is fair. The best cure for losing a lot is dropping tiers and playing where you can be effective or taking a break and not playing at all. You can’t mm out the bad players any more than you can make them play where they belong.

Classic rigged matchmaking thread. Switch tanks. If your losing persists, switch tiers.
Nobody likes AFK'ers.

simple, use a more complex system then just win-rate.  think about maybe WN8 and for platoons, you would put one toon on a side and make it like ratings balancing, you just need to get the numbers as close as possible.

I believe in tank vs tank and MM should do its' best to match tanks equally.  If your tank crew is behind other players in skills, then it is your responsibility to play better, more cautious and use your tanks' strengths to contribute to the battle.  I try to focus on the tanks I am against and map position.  People are looking for too many other reasons than their own faults for their losses.

Don't rush inBe patient and Don't brawl unnecessarilyKnow your tanks and enemy tanks;  Know your tanks' role;

Knowing maps allows situation awareness; Mini-map is a mighty map;  Drive to cover;

Fight like you have no armor; Relocate and reset camo oftenBe the lover of cover;

Hull down is OP; Stay on high ground; Don't go where you don't know
