I bought one of those back in 1989 for 85 bucks. I sold it, it was a POS. (Chinese SKS) Hell, I’m down though. I could always use another gun. It’s been a while since I’ve had to check, how old do you have to be to own a gun in the U.S.?

Thanks for the post. Can you link the source page? I can't find it on the main PC WoT page.

I do find it funny that it's being referred to as an "assault rifle" though, given that term was fabricated by the uninformed to originally describe Armalite Rifles.

yeah. I am just tired of people referring ARs as "Assault Rifle" of "Automatic Rifle", that's why I created Firearm Pride [AR-15]

I’ve got more expensive taste than that now. It’s funny, what I thought was badass back in the day I have no interest in anymore.

  I just need a few guns... Trap gun(4), pheasant gun(2), rabbit gun(2), squirrel gun(5), deer gun(3), coyote/varmint gun(7) muzzle loader(2), cc gun(2), nightstand gun(1)... nope, I need more.

lol, I'd rather spend more guns than this game, which I have painfully paid almost $50 for this while I could have gotten a nice Norinco SKS for $400

This is the kind of rifle that, in the manual, specifically illustrates the proper firing style as holding the entire rifle sideways at arms length over your head while ducking behind a cinderblock wall

Read the article for how the term "Assault Rifle" came to be.

Some people say the Type 62 is overpowered. Having >500 battles and a 67% winrate, I may agree. However, none of y'all realize just how uncomfortable it is to sit down on these flimsy plastic seats with "Made in China" emblazoned on them. I mean, my cupholder just broke in half. How the f#%$ am I supposed to fire 250mm pen HEAT shells at the fronts of Tier 8 heavies if I have to be holding my Red Bull in one hand at the same time? It's ridiculous.

The actual first Assault Rifle is the STG44, in order for a rifle to qualify as an 'assault rifle', it must have select fire along with full auto capability. The liberal hippie media tries to apply the term assault rifle on all black guns and AKs. There hasn't been one made for civilians since the 1986 full-auto ban.

But the AR-15 and others toe the line. By that very definition they are not but only because of semi automatic setting. Especially when it is well known on how to make them fully automatic. Bear in mind as well that soldiers are trained with semi automatic in mind. Keeps the rifle better on target when firing then when you open up fully with automatic. You're not going to hit much when doing so. But in semi automatic you keep the muzzle down. Look at each of the past shootings that have happened here in America. Each shooter had a semi automatic weapon. An AR-15. Look at the amount of death they were able to dish out from a semi automatic rifle. Do you think it matters on the definition of a weapon so easily obtained by people who are well known to be trouble by governmental officials? A weapon that has caused so much death? I'm not asking for a ban. I'm not against the second amendment. But a weapon like this should not be given away to someone that is a well known bad person. I would think responsible gun owners would have similar thoughts in that direction as well.

I never understood the appeal of using one on a rifle. Controlled pairs are much more effective. If I wanted burst or auto fire, I'd buy an automatic weapon.

There hasn't been an automatic weapon for civilians since the 1986 ban, the only way to get full auto is to go to a shooting range that offers such guns, or own firearms before 1986
