I almost never use gold ammo, literally 10% of my ammo is gold and I only shoot 1 or 2 shells in 1 of 10 battles (whit the exception of HESH in the cent 7/1)...

Also I almost never use provisions and expensive consumables and I manage to get a win rate of 56~% (well to be fear i manage to get my win rate to 50% playing low tier tanks  (back when I star to care about that nomber and I stop to be a noobie)

I don't use it much but if I have no way of getting around a tank I will use it.

 

Most common use is to finish off an enemy and I know that it will kill them because their health is low, but their armor is twisty and gets unexpected bounces from time to time.

I may or may not use it depending on the tank and tier, but I always make sure I have an ample amount in any tank I drive. The only exception (for me at least), would be the KV-2, where all I ever load is HE.

Use it far less since the nerf. Most times I use 10% or less now. I used to use it close to 50% of the time (Nothing like loading a 40/50/10% ap/heat/he in the heat 54 and laughing when losing 50k) so I equaled it out in my vote.

I am pretty sure Ive shot less than 100 rounds of prammo (tier 5 up). This is just me, but I feel like f2p players use less pramo (me) I also feel like alot of players unnecessarily use pramo. Ex: jg shot heat at my stbs back once... I also watch replays of great players (im not criticizing them, ik they r better players than me) and they use prammo when I know for a fact that standard ammo wouldve worked, and here and there they complain that rngs bad when they shoot HEAT at a ru's track and it doesn't pen...

It’s there, use it. For a great many tanks it isn’t that much of a credit drain if used appropriately. Yes it mostly has lower alpha but if you have a chance to put damage out and don’t because you won’t shoot prammo, you become a liability to your team. If it costs you a fortune in credits, you may want to rethink your tactics for said tank.

I agree. But the question I really want to get to is how does prammo affect the win rate.This was the first time I started a conversation and didn't even know if I would get any response. And there is a poll too. I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to get my  answer with just these two questions. Now, how would I word a question to get the prammo use/win rate relationship without making everyone have to do the math.

You can’t know if standard ammo pens, because there is a +/-25% dispersion with the standard ammo penetration. Grey armor does not guarantee a pen. For a guaranteed kill, I often use APCR if I cannot afford not to pen.
