Play peek a boom with the 75mm

Don't be too agressive

Angle a bit and you might bounce some stuff *might

You're M3 Lee can be a really great tank for blasting the reds. Focus on letting your fellow greens spot the enemy and then you blast them from a safe distance. Make sure you always have good cover nearby.

Find buildings that allow you to poke the right side of your tank around, shoot, and then back into cover.  Hide the left side and the house on top whenever possible.

ok.... left side protection and top protection with gun barrel free. this sounds like a mid support TD.

this, start out mid range, move in as game progresses, and always keep cover on your left side, like the AT-7, whenever possible. Back behind cover between shots, pull forward with hull angled as much as possible when you are ready to fire.

so basically side scrape with left side cover.

should i start the game as a traditional TD?    or follow heavies?  obviously this isn't a true med.

The Lee is weird because it brings a good gun in a relatively mobile but otherwise gawd awful tank.  DON’T try and peek over any sort of ridgeline to take a shot. You’ll be spotted and they’ll be aimed and firing long before you can even bring the gun to bear.  Peek-a-boom sidescraping is your thing as others have said.  When push comes to shove don’t be afraid to bully lower Tier tanks. When you are face hugging them some will have trouble penetrating as they have to look up into a reasonably sloped plate. And always bring a few rounds of HE to shred Lights.

In the end don’t be afraid to despise the tank. It’s just a stepping stone to the Sherman.

The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

it's like any relatively mobile tank that has somewhat sketchy armor but a heavy hitting gun. As high tier, you can follow heavies or mediums, whoever needs more help, and play second line. On the front line, the left side, assuming you can utilize cover, will be better, for flanking, the right side will be more fruitful than left flanks because of what side the gun is on.  As low tier, run behind the mediums on split meta maps. Of course, we're talking about tier 4, here, so the level of gameplay isn't exactly stellar, so depending on situation, it may make more sense to "secret toon" with a powerful tank, or better yet, a known player, and just lend them your support.

ok gang!   thanx so much for your help and also Littlefingers.   after everyone's input and watching the 20 min.video twice...lol...  6/3 with 66%WR and a 55% survival rate. i was low tier 4 times also. (the honeymoon period doesn't always work right)...idk...

i also found if you're on a smaller hill on the incline. using the gun depression(hull up lol)..this works great when not on town maps. and side scraping and angled about 10 deg.with the gun right side out.   works sweet too. the armor can be trollish  in those two positions.

i think i may like this tank.

I kinda skimmed over this, but also don't I mean DON'T let anyone flank you.

The frontal armor will actually bounce some stuff, but the sides can be one shotted frequently.

I hate playing it so I sold it, even though I've got a 58% win rate in it. Like others said, keep the left side and top hidden as much as possible by objects, and try to find spots so the reds can't flank you early on in game.

I can't remember who said it in a video, but stay "vertically hull down" LOL

Once the reds are dying off, then you can start more actively hunting near the end game.

It's got okay speed. I've actually chased slower tanks with it at the end of the game shooting like a ground bound fighter plane. :teethhappy:

It's also pretty accurate without a full reticle shrink.
