SRT played tier 10, but there were only 6 teams on saturday. We won all our matches, but we lost to void. At that point no one else was playing. This took way to long, and there were not enough clans so we dropped to tier 6, with two hours left and we did not get the full 7 matches. We stopped at tour 6.

We played again on sunday, and there were no teams registered for tier 10 at all! so we played both tier 8 and then again at tier 6, the wait times are to long.

We played tier 8 tonight and wait times were about 10 minutes a pop. We won after about 90 minutes and then dropped to 6 where things we better. These things need to be called slow tournaments.

My team really enjoyed these quick tourneys during the test mode because the team match ups came quickly. Now the wait is way too long. Nothing quick about it. Based on my team’s reaction, it will be difficult to get a team together for a “quick” tournament. Do whatever it takes to get more teams focus into one pool of teams.

How come your quick tourney for Oct 4, 2018 is starting 3 hours early?

Changing the Quick tournament time by 3 hours with no announcement?

Why would you do that?

Today is 10/31. I have noticed Wednesday tournament time has been changed to a 2pm pst or 5pm est. I wonder why WG does that. It is at a very odd time. I myself cannot play at that time during normal working hour 9 to 5 in pacific time. For eastern time zone people, same thing no one can play at 5 pm right at work end.   Is the new time gearing for students? Play after school?

Also  is it possible to put the off season tournament style tournament back?  The one same winrate teams group together into a group and fight each other. Instead of putting a 50% team fight against -V-, -R- HATEed those over 60% teams.   If this keeps going, this style of tournaments will discourage players who buy golds quite playing this game once in for all.

Well just my 2 cents.

No second attempt on Quick #19 V-VI tournament this week can't continue after first attempt.

The start time trouble happened because of transition to winter time. Everything will be OK in the next tournaments.

Thanks for letting us know the start times for the tournaments will be back to normal. I was just wondering about that and came here to find out.

This is not the first time or first year this happens, in the spring when we turn the clock again this will happen again. I don't understand why WG cannot anticipate Daylight saving change, why is it so hard? Why no one is proactive in that company to solve this issue once and for all. I work in High Tech and it's such easy fix to put in place so it won't happen again, but then WG always clumsy in their doing and cannot do this simple thing it's extremely unprofessional at least.

I understand your indignation, but we are trying to do our best. Unfortunately, sometimes issues happen and it's impossible to avoid or predict all possible troubles. We are sorry about any inconveniences which related with this issue. We've fixed it already.

Wondering when wotblitz starts having clan tournaments. every week  Monday Wednesday Friday are flooded with non clan tournaments. Why bother to join clans anyway? it is harder to retain and recruit clan members if there is  no need to be in clan to play tournaments.  Not asking to completely remove non clan tournament but any least once a week with different rewards  for clan only tournament.

Off-season is time to train and make changes in roster. That's why the biggest part of tournaments is non-clan in the Off-season. You can find new tournament players for your clan and it's easier to do that when you have non-clan tournaments.

Is there any way that the times could be extended to make it more comfortable for the pacific and mountain time zone players?  Tonight’s quick tournament was from 3 to 5 PT.  There is no way us working people can make this in these time zones.

Wednesday tournaments for players who can't participate in standard time like 6:00 PM (PT). Monday and Friday tournaments are still starting at 6:00 PM (PT), so you can play on these days.

RexyComandante - Any plans to take end the random MM in quick tournaments?  Seems like matches are too lopsided, too often.  Whether your team’s much stronger or weaker, matches often are a complete joke.  Lots of superior teams play in the lower tier groups just to farm credits, but WG must’ve known that the random MM would encourage that.

I’ve seen matches where a much stronger team drops down a tier (example – all VII’s v. VIII’s) or play 5 v. 7 against a much weaker opponent, which can make the matches really interesting for all, but that's extremely rare.  The player base just isn’t going to police itself.

How often do clans/individual players try out tournaments a couple of times, get their butts whipped, and never come back?  Interest seems to be dropping and wait times are longer.  Fewer seem to want to play.

Maybe I’m wrong.  So -- what do the stats actually show?

Statistic show that interest to tournaments is not dropping down. Tournaments are kind of competition and the main point of any competition is determining the best team(s) from all participants. That's why I don't see trouble in this case. The strongest teams are winning, the weakest teams are loosing - it's normally.

I guess that depends upon your definition of "the best" or "strongest".  If you're randomly placed against weak teams, and not peer-to-peer, and win the tournament, does that really make you the best or strongest?  (Isn't that more like a scene you might see in some Will Ferrell movie - where he'd only play basketball against little kids?)

For a while, the tournament formats included "peer-to-peer level of gaming".  As the tournament progressed, the best still ended up winning, but they did it playing against comparable teams.   That's what's missing.  That's what I was asking about.
