So before we start there's a reason I kept this out of the MM thread. It's because this falls under a different category of issue.

As you can clearly see from the listed pictures, there are 5 heavies on either team in all five pictures, and at least 1 heavy on the opposing team. This is not acceptable at all, for two reasons:

 

The medium tank nerf of 3.6 allowed this to happen. Pre nerf, heavies were scared of mediums because they knew if they made a wrong move they'd be ripped to shreds, for good reason too. However, post nerf, the "heavy meta" has been further and further reinforced as players try to avoid being HESHstar'd in the sides and being shot to death by mediums from the front.

 

The recent public matchmaking changes. These were said to change how teams were comprised, specifically that there would be no more than 4 (four) of any given type of tank on either team. However, there are clearly 5 heavies on those team. There's also the fact that those matches were all queued in less than 30sec, a sure fire sign that the match maker knew EXACTLY what it was doing. Wargaming has said in the past that the match maker will disregard ALL parameters for match making after the queue time exceeds 5 (five) minutes.

WG has admitted to making changes in order to impact the meta.   They have even said that they purposefully have made changes to make this years meta more heavy friendly.  They alluded to additional changes so that next years meta would not be the same as this years.  I believe they said they wanted to make sure the game did not get stale; that it was always changing.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

I see the same thing happening with tank Destroyers. Wargaming went and messed up the meta so now we see big armor big gun tanks being primarily played.  Granted those tanks should be equally balanced out between teams.  I have no clue why this isn't happening.

I am never happy to have 5 heavies on my team and 1 on the other.  We just get flanked, and out dpm'ed.

Yesterday I'm driving a TD in a match with 1 light, 1 medium and 5 TDs on my side; 1 light, 1 med and 5 heavies on the other. We lost, go figure... oh, and like yours, <30secs in cue. 

I'm wondering if the foil is "Reynolds" or a knock-off generic brand... as it renders the topic moot.

You do realize MM prevents a team from having more than 3 td's

Matchmaking is also supposed to prevent a team from having more than 4 heavies, but clearly that isn't working either, is it?

I saw 5 on one team a few days ago.  What a fun and dynamic game that was.

Then don't make wild assumptions that the match maker has been designed to prevent more than 3 TDs on a single team.

Well I have played about 300 battles since 4.6 and not one with more than 3 td`s per team so excuse me for assuming WG did implement that system.

They did it for a day or so, it completely wrecked matchmaking, and then they turned it off.  It's one of the reasons I think the "rigged matchmaking" argument is crap.  If wargaming can't successfully limit the number of Tank Destroyers in a match there is no way they can implement the rigged system that some players have dreamed up.

Source?  For WG to have “scammed” anyone they would have had to have claimed something that isn’t true.  Please show us where they claim to limit the types of tanks per side in regular games on Blitz.

Indeed, this was posted by a WG staffer on the forums a while back - like several patches ago.  And for a short while, it did work - teams were balanced in terms of composition.  The wheels seems to have fallen off since then.
