I recently started using the 90 mm one the T32 and I liked it but am I really missing out by not using the 105?

I'm struggling with the tank a bit as a heavy but I'm doing okay thinking it's just a slower Super Pershing.

thanks guys

You're a t8. You'll be facing t10's. The 90mm is the same gun from the M6. Do you really want to bring a t6 gun to a t10 party? I sure hope not.

This is mostly inaccurate and seems that you don't understand the Pershing has the same cannon and there is a RoF change?

I know the Pershing has the same gun. But it's a medium with better rof. I still went with the 105 cause it performs better. With the 90mm you have to fire a lot more prammo.

The t32 does not face t10 what are you talking about.  +1/ -1 mm.

The T32 with 105mm is a slightly under armed, but otherwise very effective tank. With a 90mm you are a waste of time. Sure you’ll have few issues engaging any Medium you’ll likely face. But you’ll be utterly hopeless toe to toe with same and higher Tier Heavies. A Medium can outflank the Heavies and let the 90mm work. You can’t. Even if you’ve got Apple level cash reserves you’ll be using prammo so often that you’ll not only do diddly damage you’ll go broke.
The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

i wouldn't have issues with 90mm **IF** it had the same or better pen values... penetration is one factor at tier8 that makes or breaks the tank.

for example, at tier6 u can mount 2 different guns on HellCat and be successful with both ...because penetration is good enough in both guns. but at tier8 when u might face e75 or well armored russian tanks... U cant even HE dmg them ...
SO for those reasons im out  i would pick higer pen gun and play it like Slower Pershing

lol its their work to make things fun but doing that rarely is what makes us appreciate devs oddly.

exactly...mine is maxed and it still kinda sucks because the 105mm is a tier 7 gun. The same one the t29 has. Can pen other tier 8s but against a tier 9, you're basically a big, slow medium with an armored turret

The Pershing fights other mediums and / or flanks. The T32 can't flank and has to face heavies head-on. You can't compare them.

go for the 105! Seriously you have tier nines to deal with! i doubt that you can pen anything above your tier! Or in your sme tier for that matter!

Tanks in my garage: t110e5, t28 prototype,PZ V/IV, t34-85 Rudy, Su 122 44, y5 t-34, y5 firefly, its not as sad!

Why is it even a question I mean it's a 90mm with 160 pen vs a 105mm with 199 that is usable at tier ten (stock m103 fun ;). The t32 with the 105mm t5e1 is one of the best tanks at teir not to mention in game. Btw I have about 1,200 games where I have used the 105mm it is my favorite gun in game. Gl and o7

sorry but I disagree. Without a proper t8 gun, the t32 with the 105mm gun is meh compared to the t29 with the same gun.
