Just added lift kit today (35 inch tires, 4 inch lift) have one nerf bar on, doing other tomorrow, tier carrier got scratched and paint has been messed up so we are going to buy some so it doesn’t rust. The old tire carrier I removed, we should also be adding rear bumper and will order front one soon, also will order fenders, inner fenders, underbody lights, and lots more cosmetics soon.
Its a 2017 Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport, AKA, 4 door.
Ah, my dad and I had a 4-inch lift kit put on our 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ (2 doors), and we had to stick a slip yoke eliminator on the transfer case to get a better angle on the rear drive shaft. We've also replaced all the spark plugs, the headlights, the stereo and all the speakers, the fenders, put in a new center console, and had all the interior carpets replaced with vinyl. We also stuck a kilowatt subwoofer in the back. And we threw a trailer hitch on the back.
Here's the thing: when we bought it, there were 225,000 miles on the clock, and there wasn't a nick of rust anywhere on the entire steel chassis. $5,500, and we were told if there were 199,000 miles, it would've been up to $10,000.
