Off-Season Tournaments Discussion

In this topic you may discuss about tournaments in Off-season.

Please don't forget to note number, type (Quick or Weekend) and tiers of the tournament you're talking about.

Trying to send invites to players for BOTH weekend tier 8 but all say OPERATION UNAVAILABLE.  No one is getting invites and they also cannot join individually.  Anyone else have this issue?  Appears the system is broken again but not sure how some teams have already registered unless they did that before the crash.

How do i resolve this?

Hello!

It's strange, I'm looking now and your team participated in lvl 8 tournament. And showed cool results.
Did you solve the problem? Can you please describe me what exactly happened? Maybe you have screenshots?
If there is some kind of problem you can really help us to fix it. Because only you came to us with this question.

One suggestion I would like to make is for tank line ups to be limited for tournaments.  For example, 3 of each tank type max.  You could implement it by not allowing other players to ready up if the tank type is maxed out.

Thanks for all the work you guys do!

Interesting, we will think about that.

Thank you too!

Can you change the format of the weekend tournaments to best of 3 instead of best of 1? Best of one is really short and feels kind of stupid

We thought about this and maybe will try it and take a look how it will be.
Duration of tournaments will increased in approximately 2,5 times so it can take too long.
We are thinking how to make it good.

Maybe have 6 clans in each group?  That would allow for 3 battles, but not take as long for the entire tournament.

Maybe in that way. Sounds reasonable.

@Travoltavich

Having played numerous tier8 tournaments I have thought about ... Limiting premium tanks in competitive play because at his level premium tanks perform well above tech tree tanks... Has this topic been in discussion around your team.

Couple months back I participated in BPL (blitz pro league) on NA server and they had a point system attached to tier.

In short, this point system prevented teams from running full tier10 lineup in this case.. we had to play 2 tier9 tanks or play 1 tier8 tank in our lineups.

This little change provided us so much fun and extended possibilities ...rather just running typical heavy meta Everytime.

Tier8 tournaments could benefit from this as it will bring some variation of tactics away from full is5 spam.

Gonna piggie back on this

Is there a way to make a seperate tournament for underused tiers?
There really is no logical way that a Tier 7 tank can compete in the Tier VII-VIII tournament
You always will be wanting to use the best available tiered tank.

^^great idea. Similar to PC, which had much more diverse lineups. This would benefit tier 10 and tier 8 tournaments so much.

New to tier X? Here’s the meta, with the all new tier x tier list.

A player of my team don't get his prizes yet, all the others members got it. We play Tier 8 tournament tonight, group 7 and we win it. He already send a ticket, he play 3 or more battles. Ticket I'd: 2561063

Can you take a look? Thanks
