Wondering what formers think the current meta for Supremacy on Rockfield is.

I forgot which specific cap it is, but you should go to the direction you'd normally go in Encounter, opposite the side with the bunkers. The advantage it offers is that you can then cover the B cap more effectively.

I think the meta seems to be mostly C just because of habit from encounter, though I prefer A/B.  I think A is generally the easiest base to cap because of cover from the edges of the bunker.  If I am driving something very fast and the other team doesn't have anything to match, I'll sometimes try to sneak B immediately.

I prefer AB because once you have those two capped it is easy to go defensive, go hull down and just wait while the points rack up, eventually the red will have to push out of C and there is a lot of open ground to cover leaving C.

Hes talking about regular matches with that, at about 11min in he talks about supremacy.  Saying C is only viable in certain instances but AB is the preferred option

I don't think there is a single one meta here. I don't mind playing A+B if that's the team consensus but I still prefer C, because Playbook A+B requires a lot of skills to play right. The reason people think A+B is preferred is that it's a lot easier to cover B from A.  The thing is, to have a B to cover, you first have to cap B, otherwise you'd just be having a shootout against reds around C side. In that case you'd be in a disadvantageous position just the same as you would in encounter.  Then capping B is tricky too, even in the beginning.  You need a fast tank to get in, cap, and get out before reds can shoot at you. If you don't have a fast tank, then there can't be a fast red tank who will quickly run to cap C, and pop out that ridge above C to give you a resetting shot.

I prefer A/B, but it is almost always dependent on a light or medium (ideally more than one) jetting straight for B as soon as the battle starts.  If they can't get B or it is contested you can fall back to just having A to the red C.  Worst case is where red contests A and B enough to prevent capture and also gets a fast-mover to C, but this seems very infrequent in my experience.

Depends on the team... just think - if you have more heavies than the other team, you go A/B. If you have more mediums, C. Depending on the # of mediums the other team has, you send 1 or 2 of your own mediums to fast cap B and then get the [edited]out.

Yeah you’re right I got confused with a different map. Encounter matches C. Supremacy AB.

Take the high ground first by capping A. Then if the reds aren’t obligingly stupid you can take B if you want.  If you go C first you’ll be exposed if you try and get to B.
The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

I always go for C, regardless of team make up. From C you can fire shots into both A and B while red tries to cap them. The same is not true for C.

I disagree, from C you cant spot A unless you have a teammate further forward and B cap u can spot but you need a tank with gun depression to hit them never mind the return fire you will get the moment you fire.  Also if you go C and reds send one or two to C as well it can tie you up allowing A & B caps to be capped quickly.  I would leave C until the match is engaged and a fast tank can flank in and cap

You are technically correct, but the reverse is basically true as well. You cannot spot C from either A or B. If you send one or two reds to A/B, it can tie up and spot the reds, allowing you to cap C quickly and fire at the spotted reds from C.

If this thread has taught me anything about this map, it's that there is no one best option for this map and that you can win with either strategy if you play well.
