Starting out in PC is also much harder.  Crews matter much, much more on PC, and take forever to grind.  Low tiers are filled with 20K plus game seal clubbers who have maxed crews and crew skills.  They will kill you before you even see them.

Like Soleimani, Epstein didn’t kill himself

The difference between WoT and WoTB, is the same as between Golf and Miniature Golf

They both take skill, but no one gives a [edited] about miniature golf.

What I want to know is how you feel about Arty.

You're hulldown in a fantastic spot in your Tier 6 heavy and stopped to aim a shot; bam, an M40/43 slams your turret with over 300mm of armor from your position and deals 500 damage (not a pen, that would have killed you outright), along with a 20 second crew stun that makes you sluggish as hell, reduces your DPM by about 30%, and more likely than not lit you on fire as well because why the hell not. Sounds bad right? It gets worse.

Now the M40/43 has hit you for 500 damage and reduced your precious HP pool of only 800 HP to 200 after a 500 HP hit and 100 fire damage, but don't worry, you don't have to be concerned about your HP because you have none left after the M40/43's buddy in the M44 slammed you again in the turret for the last of your 200 HP, ruining your game and making you a donut and a statistic in the post battle results.

"God that sounds terrible but it doesn't happen every game right?"

It happens every. Single. Match. If you are caught out in the open for more than 2 seconds without hard cover, I guarantee you that you are going to lose at least 40% or more of your HP to invisible HE flinging mongoloids camping in the corner of the enemy spawn, cozy and safe from any return fire on your part. And they don't care if you're having a bad game or a good game. Artillery is equal opportunity scumbaggery and will not hesitate to destroy you on sight regardless of tier, tank class, or performance.

Something something insert joke here
