I do this every once and a while.  After I do it, I typically have total regret.  I'm pretty sure that those that play at 60%+ don't do it very often, but thought I would see what you guys have to say.

Typically, one of the thoughts below is what is going through my head when I do it:

1. I need to keep my team members alive because I don't want 4 vs 1.

2. Somebody nearby, got himself in trouble and is hitting HELP, HELP over and over and I feel obligated.

3. I'm pretty healthy and the only 2 players left on my team are short on health and are about to get pounded.

4. My team is going to start or already is crying that I didn't jump in and die with them.

Thanks.

rush in and die towards the end of battle because mom is calling me
either that or im frustrated with external situation ... but yea i do feel more i think about it the more mistakes like these i see... goal to purely play just play  is sometimes achieved.

watching your own replays will help you realise consistently when and what you did wrong. i would advise that to everyone

I do this in two scenarios

Getting greedy for dmg..  And particularly frustrating  moreso when I know a green player is good. In fact recently did this and a uncium/forum member asked. What the f were you doing? We had a chance (2v4).
He was right, I explained "I rushed to get the one shot and give you a chance"... And he understood, but left unsaid.. That was still wrong.
And when in control... I know and have used exactly that technique. Wait for them to come out, they usually will in many cases 1x1. Unless they are coordinated more than average, you are done any ways, but you gave yourself a chance.

My main rush in and die routine is during mop up when I’m greedy and trying to hog damage.

Exactly!

When you know that it’s a definite win already.

I find myself doing this a lot, and I've figured out the exact circumstances it happens. If the early game is going well for me, and I've already landed a bunch of shots, done a lot of damage, and killed an enemy or two, I start thinking we've entered the late game wrap up phase already, without looking at the actual game situation to verify that that is in fact the case. And the little clock in the back of my head is telling me that if I don't hurry up and get to where the rest of the reds are, my teammates are gonna get all the clean up kills. Except there are no clean up kills. The rest of my team is unskilled and have actually done nothing. I rush out to support them and instead become the only target. And then I'm dead and we lose.

I only do it if I’ve had a completely incompetent team that dies in 30 seconds and I’m the only one left with an entire team of full health reds. Of course I give it my best and get as much damage as I can before I’m obliterated.

Sometimes I see a 3v1 in our favor, use a high alpha shot to take the last guy down to less than 100 HP and hope the team finishes the tank off. I then go to the fridge, get a drink, then come back to see we lost. Way to go Pitt

There is only one TD and 183 is her name.

Thanks.

I used to start battles too close and then die,

now i tend to start fights far and end too close and then die.

My intent is someday before I smash my iPad and move on with my life I give up playing, to start far and finish alive.

but why I feel compelled to go kiss the 4 enemies on the lips when I’m alone is still a mystery after my 50.000 battles.

Because sometimes you just can't stop the steamroll.  If the other 6 players on my team couldn't stop them, I won't be able to either.

When I am low HP and its a mop up situation I try to ram my self to death as hard as possible

also I find when cornered rushing out rather than just letting them come get you can make them miss/ bounce and allow you to get a couple extra shots off

WoT blitz is better than WoT PC imho because no arty and +/- 1 mm.

Because a great many players, the majority of players as a matter of fact are chickencrap little cowards who hide and avoid the enemy the entire match when there's an actual battle taking place and their help is needed and teams are even (7 vs 7), but when there's only 1 or 2 enemies left, then all of the cowards emerge from under their rocks and they suddenly discover a backbone, because they're greedy little cowards who only pretend to act tough when it's 5 vs 1.:justwait:

I dont know, but it’s kind of the opposite of what players should do. Rush to the critical parts of the map early and then when the battle is winding down avoid close brawls with the reds late in game. Your gun isn’t dealing damage when you yolo and die.
