That was pretty dang informative. Thanks for the share. I have lost my share of pixilated crew-members to fire.

A great watch! No worries though, as these days, many Americans couldn’t even fit inside to begin with.......

To be fair Nick is like 6’4” and most of the tanks weren’t made to accommodate a person of that size, infact the Russians wouldn’t even let people be a tank crew member if they were above 5’8”. And the second thing is that the so called “Ronson” wasn’t even a nickname for the Sherman, infact the slogan “lights first every time” didn’t even appear until 1951. And my favorite part, the book that most of the misconceptions of the Sherman Death Traps was found to be almost completely based off half truths and personal thoughts not hard research, I highly recommend this video if you’re more interested

Exactly, and the 46 Minute panel is pure gold to combat somebody who thinks the sherman is a deathtrap, or why the Pershing was delayed.

Hans, get the Luger.

It’s hilarious to me that I spent years researching WWII a/c, learning to never take anything at face value just because it was in print, but I still accepted all the garbage stories about tanks as if they were Gospel Truth.    Maybe embarrassing is a better word. :hiding:
The point of the game is to win.  The purpose of the game is to have fun.  They are not mutually exclusive.

Don't worry, there are still people who think the Maus was a valuable and effective use of money and materials.
