I was looking at top tanks today https://www.blitzstars.com/toptanks for tier X and only 4 tanks have a 50% win rate. The rest are under 50%.  Does that mean that when playing tier X, most players have less than 50% at that tier?

Yup.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

I don't play T10 that much, since I seem to almost always loose lots of credits. So I can't say too much, but people may be afraid of loosing money and don't play it that much.

Yes. However, Wargaming kind of skews this data to only show players with 55%-65% winrates, where the general population is really 40/45%-50/55%

This is what BlitzStars is reporting, so I might be reading something incorrectly...

Hard to play there consistently without premium time so most players are not as familiar with their tier X tanks.  Therefore there is a slight decrease in player ability when you are not as familiar with the tanks vs when you can play them all the time.  Tanks are also less forgiving (more bounces, smaller sweet spots to hit, etc.).  Most people tend to do slightly worse at tier X than they do at other tiers.

Yeah, the data he's talking about has exactly zilch to do with WG beyond blitzstars recording individual player stats.

^^^^^^ THIS

This has been my f2p experience.

I’ve only started playing tier x regularly this month.

This is so true. A lot of people are afraid of losing so much credit in higher tier vehicles so they tend to play lower tiers even when they have T10 tanks. I have 2 T9 tanks and am about to research my first T10 IS7 tank, but i usually play with my IS3, KV-1S, IS any tanks of the smaller group because if i lose, which i happen to do on some bad days and a lot, i lose small amounts of credits, i end up still losing credit in my T IX even when i win because of the expensive damage and modules.

Having played over 500(?) games in the OBJ 268 I would say that sounds about right. All the tanks do a lot of damage and generally the players are more skilled, since they have ti play a lot to get a Tier 10 in the first place. Additionally, as was mentioned above, it is difficult to play Tier 10 for a long time since you will get negative credits even if you play well.

This is a very misleading comment.   I think you must be referring to WG looking primarily at data from the 55-65% group to gauge how well a tank is performing.  They don't skew any data, they just base their decisions on the better player group.

Peace-

Boris
