I respectfully disagree that there has ever been a truly unwinnable match. I do however know for a fact that individuals can cause a team to screw the pooch. I do my best where I can within my tanks capabilities, and my skill set regardless what the odds are/look like. And actually a lot of heavies tells me I can circle of death them all day after singling them out and away from their team with a bait and catch, no release.

No match is unwinnable from the start.

It depends on the skill level of the players and what RNG feels like doing.

I remember a match on Middleburg ages ago where the teams were: Green[1 Heavy, 1 TD, 5 Lights] vs Red[6 Heavies, 1 TD]

We won 7-0. I remember thinking "How the heck did that happen" but all was explained when I read up on their stats. If they had been semi-good they'd probably have won.

If you have less than 5000 battles, it is NOT COOL to have a tier 10. Having a Tier 10 does not make you good. If you think you're good, you probably aren't.

Obviously no match is unwinable but when you click and see armor vs. no armor , the armor wins at a much higher rate, esp with this player base.

In a match like that sown by OP it is certainly the reds teams match to loose. But they can screw (noob) it up, so go in and try your best. I have always been amazed at some teams ability to noob up fantastic situations. :bush:To me this is similar the 2 v 4 scenario where the 2 pull it out.

Going C is the correct way, maybe your heavies fails resetting B from the high lands?

No fight is lost before it starts.  People make choices that determine whether you win or lose.  People are good and bad for different reasons.  Some are bad because they don’t take time to aim, use the wrong armor or gun.  Others do that stuff well, but they have no concept of strategy or working well with others.  When a match starts 7 independent minds work together vs 7 others.  Lots of variables in play.  Which is why it is so stupid when people say matchmaking is fixed.

Given your team of only one real heavy and good gun depression in some of the other tanks, taking C and then working from there sounds like the right call. My guess is the red IS4 and Maus locked down their area and your team couldn't get enough damage to turn the tide of the ticking clock. Unwinnable? Not at all.
