I'm curious to know if there is some kind of spreadsheet of XP earnings of different vehicles, or if they even have a coefficient.

 

I've thought since the Churchill III makes such abnormally high XP compared to other tanks even when having minimal contribution on the battlefield that there must be other vehicles that make higher than normal XP.

 

I'm asking this in particular for the ongoing event since we're being encouraged to buy nation specific camouflages for a 50% bonus and ideally I'd like to get this event done (or cut down) with as minimal battles as possible.

 

Update;

So it seems there is nothing we don't all already know about regarding XP earnings too discover. From what I've learned there is no XP coefficient.

The Churchill III is only special due to it having it's own XP multiplier.

XP is dependent on performance not the tank. If you played two identical games in two different tanks (of the same tier) you would get the same XP.

I understand performance has obvious effects on the XP earnings but I would hope that my second statement in my post would help clarify what I am looking for.

Are you sure that's true?. For instance, from my stats in T8:

 

 

M6A2E1 EXP - Winrate: 62.9% Average Damage: 1783, Average XP: 948

Lowe - Winrate 59.5% Average Damage: 1686 Average XP: 972

 

I know that doesn't account for all the other forms of XP, but the Lowe is neither mobile nor a spotting tank. Hard to believe I'm earning an average of 30xp more for doing 100 less damage and losing 3% more often.

The Churchill III is the only tank that I know definitely earns more XP for an equivalent game, probably about 1.4x normal.  If you look at the tier 5 ace bar, the Church stands way out of the crowd with a median 1442 base XP required compared to 1127 as the next highest.  For every other tier, the difference between highest and next-highest is much smaller.

Not true -- each tank also has it's own XP coefficient just like credit coefficient and repair cost coefficient.

   Most are similar tier for tier (Church III a notable exception) but not identical.

What are you talking about?

 

If somebody plays two identical games in tier 5 for example, one of them in a stug and the other game in the Churchill III, the Churchill III match is going to earn a lot more XP.

Thats not true, each tank have his own coefficient.

So there are tanks that have technically higher XP earnings however the difference is so marginal from other tanks it's almost useless.

There was one of these done a long time ago, and posted on the forums.

 

I believe it was done by a member of the Tri Eyes...  but I cannot remember who.

 

It also had credit co-efficients on it.

Or maybe it was that guy that was developing one of the stat sites?  Or helping him or something?  I remember someone helping him translate for some reason.

Here is a thread mentioning the MLOomis effort. However, I do not see a straight list of XP coefficients and do not recall a spreadsheet being posted.

That's what I remember seeing. I guess spreadsheet is technically the wrong term to use, but at least it's a list and it has all of the info there.

It might, but honestly I do not think it matters much for what you are talking about. Other than the Church 3, most tanks are similar enough at tier that your own preferences and performance bury any inherent difference by a factor of several. What you do well in and win in at higher tiers will trump any nominal difference between tanks. My strategy if grinding XP is to also grind credits so tier 8 premiums are the best fit.

Yeah, that's the thread I remember.  I thought there was XP coefficents on there... I must be mistaken.

 

However, I did find that per the WOT (PC) wiki:

 

"Tank specific coefficient, assumed to be 1 for all tanks except the Churchill III."

 

So, maybe it's just the Churchill III that gets a bump.
