Okay I haven't played in quite a while.  So forgive my ignorance.  but I see Spare Parts are no more.  So now you just use credits to upgrade equipment?  Just what did happen to my Spare parts?  It all seems like a bad nightmare now.

Just give the reader Digest version or point me to where WG words of wisdome regarding this is.

thanks ALL.  you know..I really don't miss this game that much??

I've never heard the removal of spare parts described as a bad nightmare.  Or is that a double negative meaning that it is good?

I am now the #1 ranked E75 on the NA server!

They decided they weren’t practical, just like we told them when they forced us to use them. Now, guys gotta buy war chests to equip tanks. The turned it into a money making scheme.

Not really, I had 105 mil credit when the update dropped. I’ve still got 85 mil. This has been the best update since long before 3.8

For every spare part you had, they gave you 12 credits.

I love the ones that need it most.

If that was a double negative, I don't think it necessarily has to be a good dream per se, just sort of a boring nightmare that elicits a deflated sense of disappointment rather than fear—like if Neil Breen produced a horror movie.

Essentially, WG stripped Sparse Parts of any usefulness and gave you the opportunity to exchange them for things that did have a use, namely gold, premium time, or credits. The premium time gave you the best value, but if you didn't act then you'd have gotten credits by default.

If you have enough spare parts, go to the offers section.

You can get some sweet deals for credits, premium time and I wouldn't recommend it, but gold as well.

(120,000 spare parts for 120 gold is such a ripoff in my opinion.)

Before the next update drops, there are bundles in the shop that you can trade in your spare parts with. You can get credits, but also prem time and gold (horrible exchange ratio though). After the next update drops, they're gonna strip all spare parts and reimburse you with credits

301 tanks in the garage!

Your spare parts could be still sitting in your storage.. you can trade them in at the store for credits.

I havent bought squat since Blitz fair. Still running on old premium time though. That helps a lot, with the credits. When my PT runs out I may just get the basic kit again. $20.00 for a month and 6000 gold, better than a war chest if you want to play without dumping a bunch of cash.

That ^^ too. You can go into the store and exchange any sparse parts you have left for credits. Also many of the tanks you had fully equipped will have "strong willed" camo available that can be used for 0 credits. Its a nice perk and can save some credits as well.

Thanks for All the good InFo People!  I was able to exchange my spare parts for some credits, with 2 days left.  Although I still have 2300 spare parts that go the way of the dodo?

Too bad I can't give them away?

Thanks again!

Now that credits matter again it's funny how scarce they've become in the daily free containers.  Lately, crew experience boosters or other only slightly more useful boosters from crates seem to be the norm.  And so it goes.... it's always something.

12 credits per spart; if your garage was inflated with hundreds of thousands of sparts you should now have easily 1.2mil credits on your account, with literally no effort required.

I myself had something nearly 100k sparts; I was rich as hell after 5.0 dropped.

I'm sick and tired of seeing pointless bickering nowadays. It's disgusting and shows the poor state that the human mind and psyche is in. Rise above the others. Don't bow to the level of those who try to reinforce the poor human psyche. Make every effort possible to make sure humanity doesn't spiral down and burn in flames at the bottom.
