Online-final Blitz Twister Cup

 

News


On 18 September, the Online-final Blitz Twister Cup tournament will start, where the best 8 teams from the Blitz Twister Cup Preliminaries tournament will compete. To participate in this tournament, each player in the team should have a ticket to the Professionals Tournament, which won in the Blitz Twister Cup Preliminaries tournament. Tournament matches will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and 13th October as well. The precise match schedule is indicated in the regulations.

 

!!! Participants of this tournament could not participate in Ascent tournaments. In case of violation of this rule punishments can be applied to the teams up to disqualification from the "Online-final Blitz Twister Cup" !!!

 

!!! If you're pretending to participate in Blitz Twister Cup 2018 then your team should contain from players older 16 years old. All the players of the team should have valid documents to travel to the foreign country. Players under 16 years old can not participate in Blitz Twister Cup 2018 in any case!!!

General Requirements

 

Vehicle tiers: IX-X.

Registration period: from 3 September 08:00 (PT) / 11:00 (ET) to 17 September 08:00 (PT) / 11:00 (ET).

Duration: from 18 September to 13 October 2018.

Battles start: 18 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET).

Control mode: touch (only players with mobile devices are eligible for the tournament).

Maximum number of teams: 8.

Number of players in a team: 7 starting players plus up to 3 backup players.

Battle time: 7 minutes.

Battle mode: Supremacy.

Interval between battles: 2 minutes.

 

  • If the minimum required number of team members (5 players) does not turn up for the battle at the set time, the match will be forfeited for this team.
  • A special room for conducting matches will be automatically created 5 minutes prior to the first battle. Check the Notifications section for the invitation.
  • Team membership is fixed and cannot be changed before the end of the tournament.

 

Player Conduct:

 

  1. All teams participants should contain at the same clans as in Blitz Twister Cup Preliminaries at the moment of registration to the Tournament and until it ends. In case of the violation of this Rule team will lose 50% of the prize fund for each stage for this Tournament.
  2. No insults of any form towards the Players, Teams, Tournament Organizer and its employees are allowed.
  3. It is forbidden to post excessive, meaningless or aggressive messages.
  4. Players must observe the principles of fair play and the sportsmanship of the competition. Any actions of the player that do not comply with these principles shall be treated as unsportsmanlike conduct and may cause the punishment for the player for all Tournament duration.
  5. There shall be no breach of the Game Rules and other rules of the License Agreement.
  6. It is prohibited to intentionally mislead the Tournament Organizer or other Players using knowingly false information.
  7. Players must observe the principles of fair play.
  8. It is forbidden to participate in the Tournament using a gaming account registered to another Player.
  9. Any modification of the Game client during the Tournament with the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage is prohibited.
  10. Any arrangements between Players and/or Teams for the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage are prohibited. Collusion shall include, but is not limited to, the following cases:
    • Arranging an agreement or any form of negotiations on the outcome or score of a Match.
    • A deliberately passive play for the purpose of achieving the desired outcome of a Match or deliberate sabotage of the Team's actions for the purpose of achieving the desired outcome of a Match.
  11. It is forbidden to intentionally use any errors (bugs) or failures of the Game with the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage.

 

Tournament Stages, Tournament System, and Battle Format

 

The precise start time of matches will be displayed in the game client after the drawing. During the 1st stage, teams will be drawn randomly. During the 2nd stage, teams in the upper bracket will be drawn according to the "strongest against weakest" principle based on the number of points scored by the teams in the previous stage (team A plays with team D, team B plays with team C).

 

Group Stage, Round 1

 

The Group Stage is conducted using the Round-robin system: each Team plays against each Team within its group.

Tournament system: Round Robin, Bo5. Number of teams per group: 8, number of groups: 1. The first spawn point is determined randomly by the automatic tournament system.

 

Schedule and maps:

 

Two battles are held on the same map with the spawn point swapped after the first battle, then the map is changed.

 

  • Round 1: 18 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Vineyards, Fort Despair, Yamato Harbor.
  • Round 2: 18 September, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Dynasty's Pearl, Oasis Palms, Faust.
  • Round 3: 20 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Winter Malinovka, Desert Sands, Canal.
  • Round 4: 20 September, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Himmelsdorf, Naval Frontier, Port Bay.
  • Round 5: 23 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Canyon, Castilla, Mayan Ruins.
  • Round 6: 23 September, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Canal, Yamato Harbor, Oasis Palms.
  • Round 7: 25 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Faust, Himmelsdorf, Vineyards.

 

A victory in the round brings the team 1 point, a loss in the round brings the team 0 points. After the end of Round 1 of the Group Stage, all teams advance to the next round:

 

Group Stage, Round 2

  • Round 2: 27 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Mayan Ruins, Faust, Oasis Palms.
  • Round 3: 27 September, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Naval Frontier, Desert Sands, Yamato Harbor.
  • Round 4: 30 September, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Canal, Winter Malinovka, Dynasty's Pearl.
  • Round 5: 30 September, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Himmelsdorf, Canyon, Vineyards.
  • Round 6: 2 October, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Oasis Palms, Naval Frontier, Winter Malinovka.
  • Round 7: 2 October, 18:45 (PT) / 21:45 (ET). Maps: Port Bay, Vineyards, Faust.

 

A victory in the round brings the team 1 point, a loss in the round brings the team 0 points. After the end of the Group Stage, the 4 best teams will be determined based on the total points scored for both rounds.

If several teams have an equal number of points, the following parameters will be considered to determine the winner:

 

  • Head-to-head battles and the total score for these battles (the team that won in both head-to-head battles or that has more victories in head-to-head battles advances to the next stage).
  • If it is impossible to determine a winner based on the above parameters, the total score (number of victories) earned by teams in both rounds of the Group Stage will be considered.
  • If it is impossible to determine a winner based on the above parameters, the total duration of all head-to-head battles of the contesting teams will be considered.
  • If the winner is still not determined upon considering all the abovementioned parameters, a tie-break is announced. The time of the tie-break and the maps to be played shall be determined by the Organizer. The Organizer shall notify the teams of the tie-break time on the forum in advance.

 

Final Stage

 

The Final Stage is conducted using the Double Elimination system (battles are fought in the upper and lower brackets). Number of teams: 4. Battle format: Bo7. The first spawn point is determined randomly by the automatic tournament system. Two battles are held on the same map with the spawn point swapped after the first battle, then the map is changed.

 

  • A Team losing in the Upper bracket moves into the Lower bracket.
  • A Team winning in the Upper bracket advances to the next rounds of the Tournament in the Upper bracket.
  • A Team losing in the Lower bracket is eliminated from the Tournament.
  • Winners of the Upper and Lower brackets meet in the Finals.

  • Round 1: 4 October, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Fort Despair, Mayan Ruins, Naval Frontier, Desert Sands.
  • Round 2: 4 October, 19:01 (PT) / 22:01 (ET). Maps: Castilla, Port Bay, Faust, Oasis Palms.
  • Grand Final: 13 October, 19:01 (PT) / 22:01 (ET). Maps: Canal, Himmelsdorf, Yamato Harbor, Mayan Ruins.

 

Lower bracket

 

  • Round 1: 4 October, 19:01 (PT) / 22:01 (ET). Maps: Castilla, Port Bay, Faust, Oasis Palms.
  • Round 2: 13 October, 18:00 (PT) / 21:00 (ET). Maps: Vineyards, Dynasty's Pearl, Canyon, Winter Malinovka.

 

Streaming

 

The Organizer reserves the right to add, for any Matches, spectators to one or both Teams for the purpose of streaming Matches. Links to streams will be added a day before the start of Matches.

 

Tournament Prize Fund

 

In the case when team miss 3 and more matches, players of the team won't receive tanks. 

In the case when team miss 7 and more matches, they won't receive prizes at all. 

 

Group Stage (on the basis of two rounds)*

 

All participating Teams will receive a "Professional" medal and "Participant of Blitz Twister Cup Online Final" medal .

 

1st Place: IX K91, 7 days of premium account, 8 000  gold and Fan Banner, 15 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

2nd PlaceWZ-135G_FT, 7 days of premium account, 6 000  gold and Fan Banner, 12 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

3rd Place: T-34-85 "Victory", 7 days of premium account, 4 500  gold and Fan Banner, 11 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

4th Place: T-34-85 "Victory", 7 days of premium account, 3 000  gold and Fan Banner, 10 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

5th Place3 days of premium account, 1 500  gold and Fan Banner, 9 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

6th Place3 days of premium account, 1 500  gold and Fan Banner, 7 500 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

7th Place3 days of premium account, 1 500  gold and Fan Banner, 6 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

8th Place3 days of premium account, 1 500  gold and Fan Banner, 4 500 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

 

* Rewards for this stage basing on results of two rounds will be accrued during 7 working days after the stage will be ended.

 

Final Stage


The results of this stage will be taken into account to determine participants of Blitz Twister Cup 2018 tournament for each region.

 

1st Place: 1 100$ for team. Travel to Blitz Twister Cup 2018. 9 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

          2nd Place: 1 100$ for team. 7 500 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

          3rd Place: 650$ for team. 6 000 Twister-coins for each player in the team.

          4th Place: 450$ for team. 4 500 Twister-coins for each player in the team.
