[Hesh_or_be_Heshed]

Looking for general input for how these two are at their respective tiers. I am considering adding these to the garage but don’t see many out in the wild and was wondering if there was a reason for that.

T54E1 is still garbage.  Big, slow, and no armor.  Only does well when your team doesn't fall apart 2 minutes into the match (which is rare).

 

T57s seem to do fairly well.  I've noticed while they lack the E5's great armor, they still bounce fairly often.  Don't have it yet, but it looks way better than the E1.

Too bad to hear about the 54... still I think I will suffer though it for the 57.

Slap XP boosters and premium account on when grinding it, makes it go by so much faster.

There is nothing wrong with the t54e1. It performs very well so long as you remember it is a support tank. You can unleash some serious damage with it at appropriate times in the battle.

I’m probably halfway through my T54e1 grind and I want to like it more than I do. I have only played it solo, which has made it more difficult as it does best as a support tank and not being the main target for reds.

The armor can give pleasant bounces but can’t be relied on at all. I found when I am moving erratically that I can bounce more shells than usual but it is not at all reliable.

Top speed isn’t particularly great, but turret traverse and ground resistance are surprisingly good.  I would love a degree or two more depression, but it is workable.  Penetration can be troublesome when facing some tier tens and the lack of HE isn’t a huge deal, but does make me sad sometimes when I see a German glass cannon, or if I am having I reset the base timer.  

As it stands right now, I don’t think it’s a keeper for me. Once I grind out the T57 I will be selling it, unless the last 9% crew I have to get really changes the tank, but that is doubtful.

I’m going to try and platoon more with it during the rest of the grind, the overall win rate and average damage is low for my tastes as far as tier 9 tanks are concerned.

Anyway, these are my thoughts on the tank, overall I think it’s a little “meh” in its current configuration.
