I'm a fan of the Bulldog.  I think the real question is "Is the Bulldog better than the LTTB?"  I'm still working on the Bulldog so I won't voice my opinion yet but those seem to be the two most dangerous tier 7 tech tree lights.

A good heavy driver knows how to make shots bounce off their armor, how to use cover while fighting at the front, when to get out there and just take the shot to protect his team, to keep the reds attention focused so his team can flank, and to consistently do damage while all of that happens.

You can easily see from my stats which is the best tier 7 tech tree light.

Well this gives me hope. I am on the Chaffee right now and liking it a lot. I think it is mostly the gun, as the speed and mobility kinda suck for a tier 5 light. And I have seen drivers in Bulldogs and T49's tearing up a battlefield, so I am looking forward to trying them.

I also like the LTTB a lot for the awesome mobility and good gun depression with the second gun, but I don't really dominate in it, I'm just OK. Perhaps Bulldog will suit my play style better.

How is the tier 6 (T37?) in this line?

If you were using the turret and front hull armor on a tier 7 light to bounce shots and LoLLeR-Face Roll to Victory, you deserve to be disappointed in the nerf.

Also, obviously the Helsing is the best Tech Tree Light in Tier 7.  C'mon guy.

Does the Bulldog have the best gun depression?

To me the Bulldog has a nearly perfect blend of DPM, gun handling, and mobility. It's ability to hit on the move is outstanding and the relaod with the single shot is quick enough that you can risk taking iffy shots knowing that you'll have another one in the tube in 4 seconds.

And yes the gun depression is pretty nice.

If that is how PC auto aim works...

And PC folks claim it's not broken and mobile players whine...

I sold the bulldog with a positive outlook, although i never drove it with the autoloader.

The LTTB deserved a nerf, and sadly the SP1C has been nerfed into oblivion.

So yeah, the bulldog with the type 62 is the best tier 7 light.

Hans, get the Luger.

Sorry but for me the Dragon is and always will be the best tier VII light. Of the ones available, it was the only one designed to fight Tier IX tanks (besides the SP1C IIRC). I don't think the LTTB was released before +/-2MM went away.

Better dpm, better armor, better view range, ridiculous heat penetration for slower speed, slightly less pen of the ap round and 3 degress less gun depression. In a head to head, give me the Dragon any day of the week including Sunday.

Not in the tech tree silly.

fine.....:sceptic: Stupid reading comprehension. For my playstyle I prefer the AMX 13 75 over the bulldog. In a tier with overpowered heavies I found it difficult to maintain a 2.0 damage ratio in any of them, the bulldog being my 2nd lowest (somehow the SP1C was my highest with it's post-nerf neutering). That tank and I just didn't like to dance. I'd want to Tango and it'd want to Foxtrot.

I wasn't a fan of the t37.  It accelerated too slow.

Bulldog is severely underrated. Having APCR standard is great, and the speed is awesome. Single shot is a blast and it can work ridgelines because gun depression. Kinda struggles with always being uptiered because of the low alpha and thin armor, but using the speed to flank still works great.
