I got lucky enough to snag one of these in a crate about a week ago.  By the stats it looks like it should be pretty similar to the comet playwise, however it is not nearly as competitive as its British brother.  I am curious to hear other people’s thoughts and opinions on the tank, I play it far less aggressively than I did the comet, playing support and trying to not be the focus of the enemy.  It is just a little disappointing that the tank can’t stand its ground very well which makes it difficult to carry, especially as bottom tier.

It doesn't need to stand its ground because it goes backwards really really fast!


Seriously though, I'd like it to get a pen increase.  I think that would do the trick.

The big difference between the comet and the t23e3 is that the comet has 12 degrees of gun depression, while the t23e3 only has 6

  I’ve seen it played well and be hard to deal with. I also one on one demolished a poor one yesterday while driving a T-34/85 Victory. I don’t know much about them but that doesn’t seem right. The one I’ve got I haven’t played much because it didn’t make an impression when I 1st brought it out. 

 

  I’m pretty sure it’s serviceable and I’m not sure it needs a buff. What I am sure of is most of the guys that are playing it do.

My friend got one from a crate and likes it pretty well - he says you have to be hull down at decent range at all times and use the backwards speed to make yourself really hard to hit by rocking back and forth

I still think Panther is better than Comet but I seem to be alone on that island.

panther can be better...but its the brawls that Comet can come out of make it little bit above Panther.

T23e3 needs a gun that does pen half of its shots. 
i mean when i'm in light tank fighting this..its gonna eat me alive every time ...but u put it up against any higher alpha gun then its gonna struggle. ESpecially in OP premium tier7 ...where if not driving OP tanks..GG

The T23E3 also has 12 degrees

I would love a pen increase.  IS tanks bounce far too many shots off the side.  If I’m gonna Work to get side shots on tanks, throw me a bone.

Honestly rudys are my worst nightmare.  Hit hard and fast, can’t out run them and they have pretty good armor to boot.

Gun handling is a bit poor, mobility isn’t amazing either.  Pen is super weak... it would probably help a bit if one of these categories was buffed a bit.

Well I have since been informed that my source for that is wrong. So a test with pictures, and it does seem to have -10 degrees
