Search in Discord is actually pretty good for what is essentially a bunch of chat rooms. Still no replacement for a proper threaded discussion though.

How do you keep separate threads? Is somebody going to maintain it if they manage to?

Send a ticket in bro. It's not supposed to replace clan chat, although clan chat is kind of obsolete when many clans have their own Discord servers and can do a lot more through that than through in-game chat.

Depends, are we talking full integration with Discoord from the game?
One of the biggest needs is to have a message board at the clan level for announcements, clan rules, birthdays, time zones of each player, whatever, etc. Some players (kids mostly) are NOT allowed to use Discoord at all. The pervs ruined it for everyone.
Anyway, the message board should be controlled by the clan leader and his deputies, in case the clan leader gets thrown in jail for being a perv. Or hit by a bus.
