The idea of buffing the Exterior by giving it a 6-prd, as well as the alternative gun of some of the other premium tanks (like the Jag8.88, Churchill III or IS-6), makes me wonder:

What if all of premium tanks from tier II to X (I’m counting enrich tanks as premium) offer the possibility of using an alternative gun?

 

Now because I’m an average person whit an idea that can end up causing a mess (that and I’m curious to see what you guys can came up whit), I decided to post this on the forums to see what do you think

 

Now in my opinion, I think this will be interesting, I mean, so far the most notable change the alternative guns in premium tanks had offer is a change of gameplay of the tank, this changes can be small (like the 105mm gun on the Jag8.88) or significant ones (like the 76mm gun of the Churchill III), so it will be interested to see how the gameplay of some premium tanks will be changed.

Also, this change will probably had to take some liberties in the historically accurate department, but I’m pretty sure this won’t be a problem.

 

Now, here are some suggestions that I came up whit:

 

1- Chieftain Mk 6 – adding the 105mm HESH gun of the Cent7/1 & FV as an alternative gun (or maybe just a normal 105 gun), this gun will have the same DPM as the 120mm gun but whit better ROF

 

2- PZ II J – adding the stuck gun of the LOLtractor (the normal gun, not the MG), this gun will give it more penetration, DPM and ROF will be the same of a tier 2 tank

 

3- Excelsior & T14 – Adding a 6-pdr, this will increase the gun handling as well as penetration, DPM and FOR, but reducing the Alfa

 

4- AMX 30 Proto – Adding a 105 mm gun, this gun will have the same DPM, the only difference will be the Alfa, making it similar to all the other tier IX medium tanks

 

5- T7 Combat Car and Light MK 6 – Adding a normal gun (a one shot gun) like a 2-pdr whit more pen, but no premium rounds and worse DPM that the MG’s

 

Thus are some suggestions of alternative guns in premium tanks I will like to see, as well as my throngs and opinions on the matter, I’m looking forward to know what do you think as well as what crazy suggestions you came up whit

I think also different types of ammo for the prems as well.For ex, add hesh shells to the chieftain/t95

That is all right and i'm happy that you are interested in my propositions, but:

 

What are your troughs in giving all the other premium tanks a n alternative gun? also, made your own proposals, you probably want an alternative gun in one of your premium tanks

An alternative gun for the Chieftain/t95 whit HESH will be nice, but a 20-pdr is more probable

Can my Helsing get an alternative gun? Same DPM but instead of a 85mm twin barrel, a 15 cm twin barrel

The chieftain t95 should get a bigger gun, it's a heavy. The 105mm with 310 alpha and 100mm he penetration would be nice.

The 20 lb gun is smaller than it's current gun.
