Here is another way to look at it.

DPM is only a good metric to use if you are good enough to fire on re-load.

As an example of that - lets look at your stats in the IS7 (using your stats because you're better than I am in tier 10)

Over the last 30 days, in 111 games, you have an average damage per game of 2199 (lets say 2200) -- and your games in that tank average 3 minutes and 2 seconds (lets say 3 min exactly)

You have a DPM of 733.   Maybe DPM is not the best metric for you to use?

guess not. calibrated is better then.

but what about just making the is-7 more on par with the other heavies in terms of pen?

When the is-7 uses calibrated, that brings it on par with other heavies. If other heavies use this, the are already ahead of the is7 and get an even higher penetration boost, especially since heat gets a 10% increase. Is-7 should get a gold buff.

I think that is kind of the point.  There needs to be a difference in the tanks - and the wider that difference the better.  If all tier 10 heavys had the same penetration - the next argument would be that they don't all have the same alpha - then comes the guy who'd complain about them not all having the same armor profile.

I like the fact that I can use equipment to help me adjust a tanks game play - and I like the tanks are different.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

well a main difference is that the is-7 has apcr, which if increased to 315, is still quite different from most heavies. Overall though the penetration on heavy tanks is not really what makes them all that different. I think the dpm (like cheiftan and fv and E5), aimtime, and alpha are what makes the bigger difference. The most important difference is armor profile, like maus angling, heaviums like chieftan, pike noses like is-7. The penetration is just so that the is-7 doesnt struggle to pen when gold is needed.

and this is what you really struggle with. Tons of tier tens you got, and your bad at pretty much every single one.

And it does not have to struggle...

Aim differently -- flank more -- use CS.

What, that your tier ten stats suck cause you used to be bad? thats funny. So how many tier ten grinds did it take you? and btw your still bad now, even at 42k battles.

Again you dont know how to read stats.. my bad numbers in tier X were from my rookie days, so more than 90 days period... anyways your WR is 48.41% all the time, 55.15% 30 days.... mine 52.44% / 57.02%... so???  what about if you try to improve your lower tiers stats?? there are a lot of black and reds there, with it you can learn a lot and you cant come here and cry about everything in the game...

303 pen in the IS7 pramo is enough...

The only one using gold is you, I dont have any issue with pen in my IS7

right and that's why you have a 49% wr and 1600 avg dmg in your is7? I use career for your is7 since you hardly have any battles in your 90 day, much less 60 and 30.

why do you want me to seal club? my low tier stats mean nothing to me, cause its low tier. Im focusing on improving my high tier gameplay.

I discover forums and youtube dedicated channels when I was at 20K battles == 39% WR, so take me anothers 20K battles to learn how to play this game and improve my stats, so i dont care what you said, you feel well because u are better than me in ONE tier?? LOL   the actual stats show: Im better than you, period. BYE!

:facepalm:right so because you seal club you are better? I'm better than you at tier ten, meaning if i go down the tiers and properly max out a tank to seal club, i would be better than you too. I did not get good at this game until 3000-4000 battles. I only have 5000 battles.

If you used your brain (if you have one), you would be able to tell from a very abnormal wr curve such as mine that I did not learn ym skills in low tiers. I learned them in tier ten.
