Our clan leader appears to have stopped playing.  Is there any way for any of the deputies to take over or do we have to scrap the whole thing and start a new clan? We have a pretty fun laid back core group and would prefer not to just abandon what we had built up.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

why do you have to make a new clan? Deputy Leads have the power to hire or fire. they just cant change the clan motto or name.

I could never understand these types of threads or posts. not having a clan lead is not really that detrimental to the clan. unless you have no clan deputy's

I was hoping not to have to create a new clan but we also have 6 Deputies who have been inactive for a long time.  Without a leader we can appoint replacements or remove them from clan.  Than you so much for your condescending reply.  To the other posters my appreciation.

The clan has been around for a couple of years so people have dropped off.  Did you have to go to school to become such a jerk or were you just born that way?  Others have been helpful you don't have to read this thread or reply that is the real b.s. here.  God I hate trolls!

As a quick follow up in case anyone is interested.  The Support Team granted one of us Clan Lead after reviewing the situation so it is possible.  If our old leader ever comes back we will return the clan to his control but for now at least we get to keep our level 10 supply and can move forward.  Again thanks for the helpful input from most of you.

Nice! I actually didn't know you could even do that. Glad to hear and good luck with your clan!

Glad you got a happy resolution. I faced a similar situation when I discovered that our clan lead & all the other deputies hadn't been on for months. I asked support for control of the clan & was refused. Three days later clan lead returned & I was happy support had refused my request. I guess you were granted a new lead because it was years for you since any leadership. Not so long in our case. Just to show that the jerk who commented above doesn't know what he's talking about, as deputy I couldn't promote anyone to anything. I could only remove people from the clan.

For those in a similar situation who can't get the service centre to change the clan leader.

Talk to all of the active members of the clan and find out who wants to stick together.

Take this group to a clan with enough space to fit your group, with a friendly leadership sharing similar objectives to your own. I would negotiate for a few of your best tankers to be deputized as well.

Ensure they have tier 10 supply unlocked or almost unlocked.

Happy hunting,

WolfArmour
