I'm on the 4th stage. I have no intention of getting it. I don't have the time, or money.

"Blitz" can't exist within a world of TDs.

I'm happy to show you the math :)     I'm not a very good player in tier 10 - 46% career - but I don't really play tier 10 (not since March/April).   Tier 10 wins give me 100 Bio Gas.  The Gravedigger is the tank I want out of this event - I find it to be quite unique, while the Tankenstien not so much.

There are 8 stages all together, each requires an amount of BioGas and Cookies.   I'm only listing the requirements for the GD.

Stage 1:  100 BioGas 500 Cookies

Stage 2: 300 BioGas 1500 Cookies

Stage 3: 500 BioGas 1500 Cookies

Stage 4: 1000 BioGas 2000 Cookies

Stage 5: 2000 BioGas 2000 Cookies

Stage 6: 3000 BioGas 2500 Cookies

Stage 7: 4000 BioGas 3000 Cookies

Stage 8: 27500 BioGas 19000 Cookies

With a 46% WR - it is easy to calculate how many games I need to play in order to earn the necessary BioGas.  Below are the number of games I need to play for each stage, rounded up:

Stage 1:  100 BioGas 500 Cookies    = 2 games

Stage 2: 300 BioGas 1500 Cookies   = 7 Games

Stage 3: 500 BioGas 1500 Cookies   =  11 Games

Stage 4: 1000 BioGas 2000 Cookies  =  22 Games

Stage 5: 2000 BioGas 2000 Cookies  =  44 Games

Stage 6: 3000 BioGas 2500 Cookies  =  65 Games

Stage 7: 4000 BioGas 3000 Cookies   =  87 Games

Stage 8: 27500 BioGas 19000 Cookies = 598 Games (wow!)

836 games in total - playing at 46%.  Figure about 4 minutes a game, that's just about 56 hours of game time for me.  Spread over 10 days - just about 6 hours a day.   I'd call that a grind for sure - but I've also just proven that it is not at all impossible to get the Gravedigger for free.

So that's all on paper - here's how I stand so far.

I have 6 days and 2 hours remaining.  My event resets at noon my time.  Right now I have 13940 BioGas.  With 38400 required I still need 24460 - I have 6 days, so basically I need 41 wins a day over the next 6 days.  I have been playing at just over 50% - but I'll use 50% here.  I need to play about 80 games a day, at 4 minutes which is about 5 hour and 15 minutes of game play each day.

It's going to be a grind-

Boris

Edit:  Using 4 min a game - the math says ~5 hours a day.  I've not played that many hours a day over the past few days.  10 games takes me about 30 minutes, so 20 game each hour.  So it might be only 4 hours a day.

you are missing a zero on the first two stages and 1 in front of stage 3.

1st stage 500 biogas = 5 tier ten wins

2nd stage 1,000 biogas  = 10 tier ten wins

3rd stage 1500 biogas = 15 tier 10 wins

4th stage 2500 biogas = 25 tier ten wins

5th stage 3500 biogas = 35 tier 10 wins

6th stage 5,000 biogas = 50 tier ten wins

7th stage 27,500 biogas =275 tier 10 wins

41,500 biogas  415 tier ten wins at 48% 864 games times 5 minutes a game ( since wins take longer ) =72 hours

so theoretically it is doable if you play as if you are working a double shift job for a week.

Not theoretically, absolutely doable.   Which is a far cry from impossible like you tried to assert.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

Agreed. And it should be based on skill and effort. Bachus131's numbers are based on a 48% winrate. If you only win 48% of your battles then, yes it will take a lot of effort (as it should). If you're a super-duper-unicum and can win 65% of your battles at tier X then it will take significantly less effort (53 hours, if my quick calculation is correct). That's a little more than 5 hours per day, which shouldn't be too hard for a person with few responsibilities or commitments (e.g. retired, single, annoying wife they want to avoid, teenager).

I figured out what the problem was i didn't read the fine print and thought you had to play in Mad mode to get BioGas and playing with people who do not care about their win rate is bad  when trying to win.

I did a little experiment

12 regular games in AMX CDC won 8 out 12 - 12 mad games in AMX CDC wan 3 out of 12 around 9pm

12 mad games in VK 2801 won 4 out of 12 - 12 regular games in VK 2801 won 8 out of 12 around 9 am next day

2 different tanks 2 different days and times similar results.

After that I started playing all regular games and got very close if only I had figured it out sooner ;(

PS: a few tanks did better in mad games such as the Churchill GC and AT-15 which benefited from speed boosts.

One more point. They added a event that allows you to grind tanks in a consequence free environment. That is worth far more to me then some fantasy tier VII heavy.

Bingo!

Then you got lucky because even buying extra crates every day I came up short on cookies as well  because they limit how many you can buy each day.

No, I did not get lucky - I got smart.  Yanno that math you asked me to do for you before  - on the BioGas?   Yeah - that math you were too lazy to do?  Well I did the math on the cookies as well, and I knew I needed to start purchasing small crates right way.    Just because you are lazy does not make me lucky.   I read the in-game news, did the math and worked hard for the tank.  All "luck" did was increase or decrease the number of games I needed to win.

Peace-

Boris

No. I didn't work for it so I got no gravedigger. I did get a free scavenger, like everyone else. Are you unwilling to pay anything for this tank at all? You must not want it very much.
