So I’m going about my killing business in Oasis Palms, at Red’s spawn when suddenly a shot hits me from the hills by the map border where it is impossible to be! And the shot is from a TD which would make it even harder to believe! 

 

Sooo, as I was surrounded at that point and being shot to pieces, I tried to hit him by aiming up and, apparently his gun depression was better than my gun elevation... but thats another story. 

 

So I went into training room, selected Oasis Palms and tried with every tank I have from tier V on up to get up there, including tanks I use to climb up the hill on the exact opposite of this same map.

 

THERE IS NO WAY TO GET UP THERE... At least I didn’t find it although I dont have that exact TD.

 

Now, please, unicoms, veterans, hackers, whatever... You tell me if it is possible, and how!

 

I recorded the battle and made some caps, wrote to customer support questioning this a few minites ago to see how WOT reponds.

That would be an unintended consequence of the mad games perks.

 

Vehicles with the speed boost perk can use it to boost up to that position from the direction of the spawn.


336 tanks in the garage!

You can get up there too, with your 50m teleportation ability...

Wow, they had actually blocked that spot off ages ago (I think it was 4.0~)

 

Glad to see some of the TD veterans still remember it's there.

 

(Not a hack btw, just someone using the legal abilities in the game as a direct result of the Halloween event.)

Depending on what hill you use as a jump ramp, the amount of air you can get under you in a boosting SU100Y is INSANE.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

Theres an even better one in the bottom right (looking at minimap) that you dont even need a boost to get to, you just need to be going 60 km or above

some tanks can still get there in regular games FWIW

I remember the days of racing to the NE corner hill. Battle in the little bowl. To victor goes the spoils. A completely unobstructed firing line of the entire map. If you got that spot in an obj or jagp 100 you could run the entire match.

Yeah, the one at the other end of the map.

 

Love getting up there with my PT A and ripping holes in top tier heavies in the town who are as clueless as newborns XD
